The subtle story behind The Fiend aside just being Bray’s dark side, was that everybody he faced changed in some way, Finn went to NXT for his Prince run, Seth turned into a heel, Daniel Bryan went back to his OG persona, Miz became more courageous. With that in mind, I think what happens is this changes Chad Gable into either an even bigger asshole or he had a character where one minute he’s all happy go lucky but a switch flips and he becomes a villain. There’s lots of ways they can go with this. I’m just happy to see them finally here. Those masks and costumes are deadly.
If Shane is really, really serious about it, AEW should make him All Elite ASAP. He may not be a mediocre, let alone average wrestler at all, but the McMahon name does add significant starpower to the brand. He can easily pull in new fans to the product, like CM Punk or Bryan Danielson or Copeland or Adam Cole did.

Was not expecting modern pro wrestling to get compared so well to ancient Roman history, and even less that I REALLY liked it. I've had this whole Second Bloodline Civil War idea brewing in my head where Solo and the Tongans eventually face off with Roman and the Usos; a kind of old gen vs new gen kind of thing, and now I'm wondering if all this can last until March next year to really incorporate the Roman historical themes.

Unironically, I'd have Shane be a serious member of the active roster. It'll be weird to have him trying to win some gold, but I see that as the best use of him if he were to join AEW. That, or he could secretly blackmai... befriend Tony Khan and steal executive control from the Elite and have that be a storyline.
I would like to see this Elite vs AEW storyline, somehow bring in Shane McMahon to the mix, and end up resulting in a proper brand split, with the Elite running one show with Shane, and Tony Khan running the other whilst behind the scenes, actually bringing in someone to book the brand with the Elite and Shane, whilst Tony continues booking the other show. In house competition could be absolutely fantastic for the company, and would allow for a very different feel to both shows. ROH should also get a new booker as well.
While I won’t be surprised in this day and age if Shane shows in AEW, for the time being, this seems like an attempt by Good Ol JR to stay relevant by taking out of his ass. I like AEW and WWE but wonder when the people that are running aew refuse to listen to advice from Regal, Punk and others that have done it all before, what makes you think they will listen to Shane. Was not expecting modern pro wrestling to get compared so well to ancient Roman history, and even less that I REALLY liked it. I've had this whole Second Bloodline Civil War idea brewing in my head where Solo and the Tongans eventually face off with Roman and the Usos; a kind of old gen vs new gen kind of thing, and now I'm wondering if all this can last until March next year to really incorporate the Roman historical themes.

I loved AEW. Watched weekly. I hate Ric Flair.I wish we never had to see him in a ring again. That's why when aew started promoting flairs Whooo drink, I kinda dropped out and stopped watching. It bothered me that much. I still watch and pay attention. If Shane Mcmahaon joins Aew I doubt I'll ever watch it again tbh. I can't stand him either.

Unironically, I'd have Shane be a serious member of the active roster. It'll be weird to have him trying to win some gold, but I see that as the best use of him if he were to join AEW. That, or he could secretly blackmai... befriend Tony Khan and steal executive control from the Elite and have that be a storyline.
I loved Raw Underground. The pseudo shoot style was cool and much like Bloodsport. Could have been something amazing if it continued.
I would like to see this Elite vs AEW storyline, somehow bring in Shane McMahon to the mix, and end up resulting in a proper brand split, with the Elite running one show with Shane, and Tony Khan running the other whilst behind the scenes, actually bringing in someone to book the brand with the Elite and Shane, whilst Tony continues booking the other show. In house competition could be absolutely fantastic for the company, and would allow for a very different feel to both shows. ROH should also get a new booker as well.
While I won’t be surprised in this day and age if Shane shows in AEW, for the time being, this seems like an attempt by Good Ol JR to stay relevant by taking out of his ass. It would be an totally desperate attempt by Khan, also to me this would be the type of thing that he would keep close to the vest and not want this out if it’s in the works. Plus, pretty obvious who the suspect who told JR might be. It’s either Copeland, Christian or Jeribloat

Shane Mcmahon ultimately would want to run aew outright or he's likely to soft merge aew with wwe, trying to recapture wwe in long game. It's not good for tv audience or talent salaries if rass'l dynasty dictates industry content. On surface Shane Mcmahon feels like he needs billionaire Tony Kahn and the in place tv deal just to factor vs wwe and that's telling.

I'd love for the Bucks to bring in Shane as the Elite's personal Advisor for all things Wrestling Business. Tony Khan should get furious and fire him only for the Elite to rehire him and so starting an endless circle of Shane being hired to start the show and getting fired by the end. Every single week!
I like AEW and WWE but wonder when the people that are running aew refuse to listen to advice from Regal, Punk and others that have done it all before, what makes you think they will listen to Shane. He is unlikly to be wanted thier by many and think the relationship would end badly like it has for many others.
I heard that that Shane McMahon working with AEW would be a storyline of some sort, but I am looking forward to seeing how that will play out for myself.
