    They make honeycomb for a reason!! A kitchen cooling rack will work in a pinch and aluminum foil underneath to save your table!
    My Xtool D1 Pro 20w would cut that 5mm plywood in one pass, 2 at the most!
    Oh, the Laserpecker 2 is a BLAST to play around with! And yes, it does leather.

    How to set laser perimeter to not mark on leather? I run the square frame and it leaves the square frame markings on the project Thank you if you can help me.

      No problem, in lightburn go to the "Move" tab. If you don't see the move tab go to Window in the top tool bar and click "Move". In the bottom right corner there is a box labeled "Power" next to a button that says fire. This is the power level the laser will use while framing. Lower it to reduce the affect on the material. I keep mine around 0.1% on my 5w Ortur diode modules.

    the sharper the laser, the hotter. I did mark Stainless with success
