Great advice about what styles classics should avoid. I'm a Classic who has always been drawn to all things bohemian, but look awkward and overdone in flowy boho dresses. I've just switched to French girl style (ballet flats, tailored blazers, pencil skirts etc) and I'm surprised at how many compliments I'm getting! Once you dress for your type it feels amazing! Thanks for the video. 💕
I am soft classic to a T. I am exactly 5'5.5". My arms are proportional. My inseam is exactly half of my height. So my legs are proportional. But I'm also thick and I have a hour glass but I'm not defined enough to be romantic. My face is symmetrical maybe my cheeks and are more full. Even my style has always been refined. I do like classic and elegant and well tailored pieces and I stay far away from asymmetrical clothing. I also tend to get rid of clothing if it is out of style. So I tend to only buy timeless pieces or trendy items that will look up to date for longer. I like solid colors and I'm not a huge fan of loud prints or large jewelry. Kind of crazy that my body fits in this type and my personal style already matches the suggestion. When I was in high school I was really really overweight but even then I was still proportionate. I never had just a really huge belly, breasts, or butt. The fat just tends to evenly distribute itself on my body.
Thank you for this series! I'm a tall dramatic classic (177m or 5ft10). At first I found my height confusing and then compared myself to all the 'taller' body types as well, but nothing seemed to be a match other than dramatic classic. In the end I concluded that my height makes sense because I'm Dutch and we're really tall people so I'm only slightly taller than average here :). Looking forward to more videos in the future!
Nynke It's great to hear your feedback! It can be hard to know where we fit when it's not as common. I didn't realize that Dutch are often tall so that's interesting!
Nynke I’m also part Dutch but only 5ft8 and I think I’m soft classic. At first it felt boring but it’s what I naturally gravitated to when I was a teenager. My mum (flamboyant gamine I think perhaps) said I dress style was boring!
So it turns out that im a soft classic and i always knew classic moderate stuff fit me well.but because i am balanced i feel confident to rock some edgy pieces that make me happy, like yellow stuff (because its my fave colour) or just my natural hair (very curly). So yeah this is very helpful but if you feel like fishnets and crocs go for it you do you
I really enjoyed your video. I haven't taken the test but I think I'm a soft classic. All the tips you suggested were things I like. In the past, I tried Bohemian clothing but felt like I was playing dress up. When you talked about a nice white tailored button shirt. I was like, yup I have some of those. Thanks for sharing and you have a fabulous day.
Im 5ft 9 lean with long legs and small hands but I got Classic. My WHR is 33-24-36 so Iam more fleshy in the hip/butt area. I guess certain qualities can balance each other out.
I am 5' 6" slim but pear shaped. my face and shoulders are angular as well as really slender hands and feet. Long legs but fleshy hips/thighs. I believe I am dramatic classic. although my A's and D's were equal....
Dont cry alone! I'm a dramatic classic with small hands and soft classic facial features... or at least I think so: I don't have really sharped checkbones, just a shy volume change 😂
They have such different style recommendations, right?!? I’m the same. In the middle, and my results came out DC. Style wise, I feel torn though. Maybe it’s bc I’m tall and my hair is kind of wild naturally. I feel classic clothes look a bit too constricting on me.
I'm scored mostly classic. With equal dramatic and soft so I don't know which body type I am if sc or DC. Please help. I'm 5"4 dramatic shoulders and hips. But I have a 36 chest and have curve in my waist. My face is not dramatic
I don't understand why a classic (Im soft classic) shouldn't wear a monochromatic look. I wear a navy fine guage sweater with navy slacks or skirts, and I think it looks good. This is confusing to me. Could you respond to this? If you do, thank you.
Question: if I took the test and got soft classic but have a dimples on only one side of my face (basically killing my symmetry lol) would that disqualify me from being a soft classic or am I just overthinking it
I totally fit the soft classic type...but I'm 5'8.5...does that make sense? I compared myself to taller body types but all my features are too soft. I scored 8C, 4D, 2E, 2A and 0B in the test🤔
I'm also a 5'8 soft classic! Exact height does matter for Kibbe, it is rather one's vertical line i.e proportion of head to body which then determines how tall some looks or seems to be. :) A soft classic may come off looking slightly shorter than their actual height due to their slightly smaller bones.
Hi Mary, I just wanted to say thank you for this video series, I'm happy to have found your channel! BTW you're so stunning and remind me a lot of the lovely Ramona Flowers! :)
Loved the video! ❤️❤️❤️ I ended up leaning towards a dramatic classic type however I find that my hips and waist are quite defined although I'm 5'10 (Pear-shaped). Any suggestions for this?
I came out with the dramatic classic type. Everything matches me perfectly with one exception: I am VERY busty.. this makes the clothing confusing. Any advice?
That could be a little difficult! I wouldn't say this is a hard and fast rule, but you may want to pick tops that are are perhaps a little more flowy or subtly sexy/curvy. I would say you can definitely still go for that elegant, refined look, but maybe pick tops and dresses that swing a little bit more towards the romantic body type. Hope that helps!
Śivani Aiyar thanks for your help! In fact, I'm quite confused, cause most of my answers tell me I'm soft classic, but, as you said, my face tells other thing, my height another and my hands and feet another! From the two options you gave me I'm closer to soft gamine. 😊
Elizabeth Vargas my pleasure :) i have spent some time reading and thinking about this topic. The most helpful way to be sure of a type seems to be to gauge the overall impression that our physical selves leave on the mind, instead of examining every part separately and making a sum... For instance, is the overall impression striking? Balanced? Fresh? Voluptuous/sensuous?... etc. Try to find collages of the 2 types you feel closest to, and look for the similar, common 'vibes'. You may find it helpful to have someone else (with whom you get along well and can trust for being objective) do the test for you, and compare the results. Hope this helps :)
Ana K You probably would. Actually Kibbe's height talks about our vertical frame, and if all of your body and facial features are in a size well suited for your height, you might be a classic type.
hello can you please tell me what you think my type is cause i dont know i took the test and i got soft classic but im still not sure tbh . Thanks a bunch im a new subscriber !
I think I'm classic but have very small chest area. I tend to look slightly short if I wear the wrong thing but I don't think I'm petite, I'm 5'5.5. I have hippyness so think I'm soft. Does that make sense. My face is blended Ying Yang, only really masculine thing is high forehead and really feminine is slightly fuller lips.
probably gamine (or flamboyant gamine, since she is quite tall) considering she is naturally skinny and tiny and has big eyes, with a tiny nose and narrow chin

I’m 5’2 and I took the test and this is the result
I really like this! i did the test and soft classic came out.
Elisabeth's philosophy Saaaaaameee
ur so pretty btw

I am 175cm and had a very similar issue but when looking at other features I fit it best.
Nynke I’m also part Dutch but only 5ft8 and I think I’m soft classic. At first it felt boring but it’s what I naturally gravitated to when I was a teenager. My mum (flamboyant gamine I think perhaps) said I dress style was boring!
Ugh, you're all so lucky. I'm Dutch and only 5'2.
Same here! I'm 5'10" (Canadian though ;) and everything else puts me in the Dramatic Classic category.

+Vicky Daza Butler so glad you enjoyed it!!
Soft classic here and love a more classic look so this works for me.
Im 5ft 9 lean with long legs and small hands but I got Classic. My WHR is 33-24-36 so Iam more fleshy in the hip/butt area. I guess certain qualities can balance each other out.
Pure Classic here. A little sad that very little content is made for us.😪
Soft classic...think i need a pearl necklace and earrings.
Really appreciate the detail you put into the different types of classics - it's hard to find concise info on (say) soft classic
Yep this is me :) I am a soft classic, so this explains why I can pick up most clothes in stores and it works for me!
Excellent! the more info, the better & the more precise the info, the better. Thank you & brava!
I am 5' 6" slim but pear shaped. my face and shoulders are angular as well as really slender hands and feet. Long legs but fleshy hips/thighs. I believe I am dramatic classic. although my A's and D's were equal....
Still think this?
so cute eyes
. _. I'm 5"9, soft classic but with big and wider hands and feet 😂🤣😂🤣 small eyes and thin lips (cries in a corner) monster class classic
Dont cry alone! I'm a dramatic classic with small hands and soft classic facial features... or at least I think so: I don't have really sharped checkbones, just a shy volume change 😂
Cassandra Yong soft class
Sounds like natural.
See Aly Art’s series on Kibbe if you want more info. Highly recommend.
So, is there no Natural/Classic? I scored both equally on a Kibbe self-quiz.
Laura Tracy Lmt Natural and Classic can combine into Dramatic Classic.
Thank you!
They have such different style recommendations, right?!? I’m the same. In the middle, and my results came out DC. Style wise, I feel torn though. Maybe it’s bc I’m tall and my hair is kind of wild naturally. I feel classic clothes look a bit too constricting on me.
i am 5'4'' but according to the test i am a classic, is it possible? (my face is more romantic to me, so i think i should be a soft classic)
I took the test, ti said im a classic and im 5.3/5.4 (1.63m)

Can I be a soft classic even if I’m 5’1
Ana K Same here! answer please! :'(
You may be... But based on your profile pic, I'd guess you re coloser to a soft gamine/soft natural
Śivani Aiyar thanks for your help! In fact, I'm quite confused, cause most of my answers tell me I'm soft classic, but, as you said, my face tells other thing, my height another and my hands and feet another! From the two options you gave me I'm closer to soft gamine. 😊

Symmetricalness vs Symmetry.
What jeans should a soft classic wear?
Mid rise regular leg
hello can you please tell me what you think my type is cause i dont know i took the test and i got soft classic but im still not sure tbh . Thanks a bunch im a new subscriber !
I think I am a dramatic classic. 6-C's, 5-B's, 3-E's and 1-A. What do you all think?
Karen Villarosa you might be a flamboyant natural. Retake the test but stand in a mirror about 8 feet away
I think you "should" have more A responses in order to be dramatic. Your B's go to a natural direction.
I think I'm classic but have very small chest area. I tend to look slightly short if I wear the wrong thing but I don't think I'm petite, I'm 5'5.5. I have hippyness so think I'm soft. I just wish I could figure out if I'm a theatrical romantic or a soft classic 😢
Lady Sweet Pie from your picture and video i think you are a soft classic
@@xhen12 Even if I have a waspish waist?
Dramatic classics don’t have narrow shoulders. You’re confusing that with soft classics.
what type of body is miley cirus?
inverse triangle body type
probably gamine (or flamboyant gamine, since she is quite tall) considering she is naturally skinny and tiny and has big eyes, with a tiny nose and narrow chin
Shes dramatic
I thought natural
