Almost at 250.000 views! Thank you all for that! I am planning on making new skydive videos for the next season. It is difficult to make content when you are not allowed to jump with a go pro yet so nothing to film in the air. But I am planning on to improve and get my A licence for so I can jump with others and actually jump with a camera.
Perhaps the best skydiving video I've seen on RUclips. No produced music. No useless slow motion effects. No turning off the sounds of the wind during the free fall. I'm doing a tandem (my first skydive) in the spring and I really want to see how it is in reality and this video really helps! P.S. @Rokubaba you posted 4 days ago that you were almost at 250,000 views? 4 days later it's now at 254,500+ views. Just proves how amazingly good this video is. Congrats and thank you!
Same here. I care more about a trimmed up original than an edit that's overtaken by edits. That's appropriate in other video styles. Not in surreal realities like this. Give me the original with all the down time trimmed out, THEN show me an edit with slow motion.
I'm going to start my AFF soon and I just wanna say how pumped this video got me. The progression from the nervousness of your first jump to how much fun and comfort you have in the 7th jump is so sick. I can't wait to be there
I am doing levels 3-5 of AFF tomorrow. I haven’t felt this confidence about myself since I left the military. Every time I think about jumping out of the plane, waves of positive energy flow throughout my body. I can’t wait to jump tomorrow!
@@Gaurav-qq7yq Fcking Amazing. I completed my license in about 6 weeks and did 49 jumps total for the season (Germany). I can't wait to hit 200 jumps so I can start wingsuiting and base jumping. It's a completely different lifestyle than what most people find in life. I'm not a thrill seeker, I just don't let fear stop me from following my passion anymore. Blue Skies Brother
Most realistic account of the AFF I could find. No music, just wind and communication by handsignals. Great stuff. You found your balance very quickly each time.
I'm 35 getting ready for my second tandem and aff course.. Ive been in love with heights and flying since a young age.. I really want to become an instructor and make it a career.. just did my first jump from 18,000 feet on my 18th birthday, easily the most amazing thing i’ve ever done, im already going again and i’m now saving up money to hopefully go through aff and eventually get my a license, definitely a sport i’m going to continue
Just finished my tandem dive and loved it. Watching this to see what’s involved with training. Pretty cool to see how with each level you have more and more control and confidence. Thanks for sharing
ACE!! You did a great job. Even if you're not looking at the moves/training, you can see the experience and progress on your face, how you went from focused, serious, maybe little bit scared to fking expert, smiling all the time like it's a piece of cake. I moved to Spain for work and saw a skydiving ad and also saw that that they have aff and was thinking to save up some money to join. Keep it up man!
I've passed 2 levels atm. It's interesting that there are some differences in programs: I did turns on the second level, and balancing is going to be on the third level. But it looks so cool to see how this man feels more and more confident with each jump! Nice work!
one of the best youtube videos on the stages of learning. I could see you getting more and more comfortable with each jump. My son and I just jumped tandem for his golden 18th birthday. we had a blast.
Pretty crazy how there's so much airtime...even though it's less than a couple minutes....they're training during the whole free fall like it's nothing👍😁
Great job! The most amazing thing is I could see you had a lot of fun starting from Level 6 and 7, I remember my first 3 PFF jumps were pain in the ass, especially level 3. When I debriefed with my instructor I never saw any smile on my face. My entire brain was overwhelmed and all I thought was to check my altitude and finish the damn turn. I loved the feeling of freefall but I HATE turning, somehow I couldn't turn my damn body in the air. After spending some time in the wind tunnel I finally put my body in the control and started to enjoy the whole process. My suggestion, find a wind tunnel before taking AFF or PFF (if you are in Canada) course, this will save you tons of money, I did PFF level 3 for 3 times and passed.
@@gpolykra It went very well! This guy made it look insanely easy but I ended up having to repeat 2 dive flows. Ended up doing 27 jumps in 10 days and left the dz with my A license and a stamp on my head :)
I start working on my C license on Sunday! I think I’m going to be doing the back exit and watching you do it got me having the butterflies/upset stomach. But I know once I do it I’ll be like hell yeah! This is all I think about anymore! Wish I didn’t wait until 48 to start my lessons!
Amazing!! Wow!! I have never seen this type of wonderful video. Many times I saw this video. No adventure is greater than this type of jump. I also wish to do this type of jump.
That’s a great video thanks for that. Just done a tandem dive at Langar. Trying to process my thoughts on the training. This is a great help thank you.
El mejor vídeo de paracaidismo de saltos con el sonido auténtico del viento sin música, uno experimenta el momento como si estuviera allí, la vista excelente, los mejores instructores espero más vídeos así. Buen trabajo .
hahhahaha yeahhh what an exit in that last jump.. wish i had a teacher like that... just saw another aff video. this guy finished level 7 witout even tracking once wtf good job here
Damm good work, I’m a bit jealous considering how bad my level 1 went, I flipped over as soon as I jumped out but stabilised after a few seconds, did the rest well and wasn’t scared at all but I think I scared the instructors lol. Got the rest of my levels soon and I’m pretty exited, I just gotta remember to arch :) great work!
It's almost like the french PAC ! 6 jumps, 1st with 2 instructors, and ... a difference ... when doing the altitude check, we had to watch the meter with one hand and take contact with the hand deploy with the other. After 4 jumps ... i think they had a problem with another beginner , but on my 5th jump, i was by my own. And then all starts ... it is wonderful. icarus
Well done, I see one thing that you do that could be a bad experience though. After you deploy you put your hands over your 3-ring system. There was an incident in Sweden where the student did the same and got his finger stuck in the 3-ring system. Keep flying your body until you're under canopy, this will also help keep you stable in the event of a high speed malfunction. Anyways good job! =)
I did my first tandem about a year ago on my birthday and my 2nd again like 2 weeks ago. Nothing can compare to the rush of free fall. When i get some more money i really want to get my license to solo jump. Im thinking of doing some more tandems in the meantime to get the landing timing right on my own without direction. I also plan on doing dome indoor skydiving to practice my body control in free fall.
That is awesome man! Go for it! it is really something else to solojump. Doing indoor first is something I highly recommend. It really helped me with finding my balance in the air quicker. First find your cool en focus and then you will enjoy it very much. I havent jumped anymore since 2 years ago unfortunately. I had a jump buddy and he quit. So now couldn't really find the motivation to go. But planning to do it again this spring.
@2b3rrk That's awesome to hear your coming back to the sport man! I really want to get into wing suiting eventually, base jumping is out the question though haha. I enjoy the thrill, but I'm not that crazy lol. What's your favorite part of skydiving the free fall or being under canopy? Anyway I wish you the best and look forward to see any new videos you put out.
Yes I did a day session in the tunnel just to see if I have the feel for balance. The first time went really well so I decided to get to skydiving after that. I would definitely suggest to do a session in the tunnel first
