- The marching 110 performs Sweet Home Alabama at the last homegame of the '06 season. For everyone wondering why Ohio played this it's partly because we were going to the GMAC bowl in Mobile, AL which is also the hometown of our director, Dr. Suk.

Great Video, Im in the Pride of Baker High School Marching Band from Mobile, Alabama and think that this is one of my favorite videos yet.Thanks for the band support.
Not only does this band march, but they (we) have marched in the Macy's parade in 01 and 05, in the Rose Bowl parade in 10, in a presidential inaugural parade (Clinton) and performed in the inaugural ball... the first College marching band ever to do so, I might add. We were also the first college marching band ever to play Carnegie Hall. Along with a host of professional football games both here and in Canada, this band has one of the most impressive histories of any college band.
God loves Alabama and the 110 from OU
The most exciting baaaaaand in the laaaaaand!
@northwoodband19 The director at the time was born in Alabama and went to Ole' Miss, one of the best directors in the collegiate world.
@bailesie
Doh!! Yeah. We went back to NYC in 01 for the Jets game. =) My bad.

damn i love this band!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT TO B IN IT WEN I GRADUATE HIGHSCHOOL...im a percussionist at whitehall yearling highschool..
@phantsmogo True. We still have the same director though. Dr. Suk is amazing.
@NiukonskaSioux Yeah i know, i just prefer the look of silvers and everything. my school has some gold ones that actually play better than our older silvers. but for aesthetic purposes, we only use those when we dont have enough silvers
@pokerdude267 you didn't watch it all then - similar setup at the start, but completely different at the end
@maxttu Watch the other videos, we do march. We just stop and dance every now and then.
somebody should show this to the million dollar band down in bama... lol
@pokerdude267 This is Sweet Home Alabama. No doubt about it.
what the heck, gold sousaphones in a college band. my high school marches silvers
@pokerdude267 considering this video was uploaded in 2006, how you figure that one out?

if the mdb did a skynard halftime show most people wouldn't pay attention...this is the most overplayed song in the south
