I can't get it to work on my computer, it just become FULL screen on the one option that lets me select "use presenter view" Do I need to plug in the hdmi? How can I practice without a second monitor??? My friends can do it, but I cannot.
Looking for help. When I am in Presenter view, the icons on the lower left of the screen show up on the projected view. How can I keep that from happening?
Great question Robert. I believe you just need to turn that feature off as follows: 1. File tab 2. Options 3. Advanced 4. Unselect "Show popup toolbar" Give it a shot and see if that works for you.
Glad that helped you out! For other cool PowerPoint shortcuts, check out my blog post below. nutsandboltsspeedtraining.com/powerpoint-tutorials/powerpoint-keyboard-shortcuts-to-save-time/
Thank you, it was helpful. I have a question about presenter view. Me and 2 other people will do an online presentation soon via Zoom. If the host makes me and my colleague as co-hosts, can 3 of us see on the presenter view?
In the Slide Show view, just right-click anywhere on the screen and hit R (assuming you are on a PC). In the Presenter View, you need to right-click on the screen that the audience can see (the big one on the left). Let me know if that solves it for you.
Yes, it depends on the language. You can check what key you need to press in stead of R. If you rightclick look at the character that is underlined in the 7th command (in Dutch for example:"Weergave voor presentator verbergen" with an underlined "w". So I have to press the "w" in stead of the r.
Hello plz can you help me it says to sign in microsoft office produck key but when i m putting my email its going directly online and not powerpoint on my home screen plz help
Hi laura, I'm not sure what is happening. I would recommend uninstalling MS Office and then reinstalling it. Normally, as soon as you start to install MS Office it will ask you for your product key right away, not after the fact. Sorry I don't have better advice for you this one.
Thanks for this - it's quite helpful! I'm presenting to faculty and colleagues in September and I'll be directing them to your RUclips channel for great time saving tips and training! ` EMatt
You will need to extend your screen instead of mirroring it... that will allow you a window onto the monitor you want it on. I'm not exactly sure how to set that up on a Mac but it's definetely possible.
Your notes should be in the lower right-hand corner of the presenter view, no? Or do you mean, you want PowerPoint to read the notes out loud? If so, that is not a feature that is currently available.
how do you get the slide and presenter notes to appear at the same time. I do not want to see the next slide when I am presenting this slide. So for slide 2, I need to see the notes of slide 2 not slide 3 notes.
I'm not sure how this would work on an apple TV. My guess is the Apple TV will just mirror your computer instead of extending your screen as a second monitor (which is how you would normally do this with a two monitor setup).
If you have two different monitors it should be. You would push presenter view to one monitor and have your Google Meeting in another web browser on your other screen. You will have to play around with opening a few windows to see if it works.

Try Alt + Fn + F5 and see if that works. My guess is you have your function keys reversed (so that your media keys are the main function). To see how to switch them, see my article here: nutsandboltsspeedtraining.com/powerpoint-tutorials/function-keys-not-working/

Hi, thanks for the video. I cannot get right mouse button + R to work. Can you explain exactly where you press it?

How do you use extended view when connected wireless to Spson projector instead of mirroring - using PP. Also its an Apple. Thanks
You will need to extend your screen instead of mirroring it... that will allow you a window onto the monitor you want it on. I'm not exactly sure how to set that up on a Mac but it's definetely possible.
Has anyone tried this with quickshare? Not sure if that also will count as an additional screen
I have not, so if that is a solution, please let me know.
how to read your notes during the presentation?

It works, but when I do it with the shapes, the shapes don't appear.
Edit : Never mind, It works now!
Thirty seconds of content padded out to last 6.42. The presenter is obviously aware of this as he implores the viewer not to skip to the end.
