He's 100% right and I've seen it in my own personal experience UNTIL his last two sentences. More men going to the gym or even doing just at-home workouts would solve a lot of these issues with lonely men today. It’s the best first step to working towards a happier and more fulfilling life.
Some issues, there's tons of buff incels as well like LTG etc. A lot of men with muscle also have plenty of issues, my sister talks about em all the time. Could turn most of em into being full of themselves. Good advice, but I don't think it'd help those kinds of people.

Now I go to the gym 3x a week and I try my best to take walks in between and it's done a lot of good for me. it's not a "fix-all" solution but it's a good starting point if you want to structure your life better. I will say it’s be nice if more females could join a game with a group of men and not let them dog her. I got my girlfriend back into fighting games again after losing interest when Dead or Alive went on hiatus. The problem in the he FGC isn't women, it's fake people with corporate interests or otherwise don't come there for the gameplay and culture.
I generally don't like moochers and businesses becoming too cocky within hobby spaces like the FGC. I realize that's an unrealistic desire but I don't like leeches and that's my stance on it.
If they like Fighting Games and are there to support them or the players or to even be a player, all the power to them. If I see a starved attention seeker looking for their next big break, it's a different story.

The FGC is full of strange and horrible people who are quite vicious and horrible - men and women both. You've made videos, Mike and I've seen them; the Guilty Gear player for example. Not only that, there were videos made by Technicals regarding Guilty Gear and the men and women in it were both scummy. Is it so wrong to point out that women are a part of what's wrong right now?
There's nothing wrong with pointing out that women do bad things. There's a problem when you say "get women out of gaming". That is an absolute, all encompassing statement and we spoke about it. That's it. He can have his opinion but he put his opinion online and so did we. He is going to have to be open to scrutiny just like I am when I put my opinions online, especially when it's one as wild as this. We didn't waste our time because we wanted to do it. Only I can tell you if it was a waste of time or not.
If someone is trying to frame all men or all women in a certain way then people will have something to say about it. He made an absolute statement and got clap back for it, not just by me but by multiple content creators. He insulted and belittled women with his opinion calling them ugly E-Girls or trans but we can't do the same back? It's a two way street. Every time women have come into men's spaces and have been more than welcome there by the men in them, they've led to a lot of ruin and general nastiness. Fighting games have been largely a man's space and men could go in there and speak freely, plainly and feel at ease generally (though the competitiveness can absolutely be off the charts).
He came across as rakish and mean, did DaltonE, but I think it was out of anger and malice for the feeling his space being taken away. This reminds me of a video I watched recently regarding yoga classes and men joining them.
Obviously, a lot of women enjoy yoga for wellbeing and whatnot and I champion that. However, there's men joining these classes and the women in these classes are quite vitriolic, demeaning and hateful in their view on these men. There has been hundreds if not thousands of videos, comments on TikTok and Instagram all bashing men and in insulting and condescending ways. Also these insults were generalised and sweeping across men as a whole.
Now, doesn't that sound like DaltonE? The hatred, vitriol and condescension he has for women entering into FGC is almost a mirror for the vicious sentiments women in yoga are having for men.
Women have their own spaces, men are generally and strictly not allowed to enter them, and I'm not talking about the whole transgenders in women's toilets, changerooms (I think they have no business being in there). I'm talking about general women's hobbies and places where they feel safe, free and at ease. They must hate the idea of men coming into them I assume. Certainly women's sports are of main contention in the political space, which I do not want to even get into, I assume you do not either, Mike.
However, women have free licence to complain about, criticise, insult, bully, demean and even cruelly bash men on all fronts, whereas men cannot respond in kind.
You can't say, Mike, that DaltonE is being a negative, sexless incel chud for what he said simply because you don't agree with him and neither can your sister. I'm sorry, but you two came across as extremely condescending and demeaning towards a great many people who hold the same views as DaltonE and are quite correct in doing so.

The first problem with this, bro, is that gaming is not a man's space. Being male dominated and being a man's space aren't the same things, so it's not a case of them invading our things because it didn't belong to us to begin with. This argument would work if I had a closed off group for just my male friends or a project where I only had men work on it and women tried to force their way in, but gaming is for everyone. We all have to co-exist in this space. How that looks is going to look different depending on the scene you're associated with.
Just like gaming, the Yoga space is not owned by women. It's probably dominated by them but if they are putting men down simply for being in those spaces then they should be called out by that community for that. Simply attacking people because they're not the same gender as you and they've come into your space is ridiculous and those women are no different than Dalton or men that think like Dalton. Women will never own the Yoga space because it's a workout/way of life for people. They'll have to learn to co-exist or meaningless fighting will break out. They can't gatekeep just like we can't gatekeep gaming. Men can respond in kind and I've already done that to multiple girls. The idea that we cant put girls in their places isn't true. I do it all the time and I'm just a guy like you guys.
I can say that he's being negative and behaving like he dislikes women but he spoke in absolutes and gave bogus statistics to try and back it up. If he spoke more specifically then it would be different, but he didn't. He tried to group a whole type of people into something that we all know isn't true. I can admit when I am being condescending and I was. I cannot and will not show respect to people that group everyone together to push a narrative. Not when women do it, not when men do it or anyone for any reason. People are allowed to have their opinions and these are mine. At the very least, you'll always know that I'm being honest whether people like my takes or not. I don't respect what Dalton said and when I spoke to Chilled Scrub, even he walked back most of his talking points as evidenced on video. I think Dalton needs to do a better job constructing his arguments or if he does believe that women should absolutely get out of gaming, he should be prepared to deal with backlash.
@@RealMikeHollow I don't think DaltonE ever mentioned any actual numbers or statistics in his post. He mostly came from an emotional position and think he was largely just frustrated.
However, you did lump a lot of people together as a group by calling them incels, or at least your sister did, you agreed with her view and thus it was you also assuming most of these men are simply sexually frustrated, not living life incels.
DaltonE wasn't pushing a narrative, he was posing an opinion in anger. To push a narrative, one needs to make a number of arguments, rhetoric and ideas and then push in a direct way with an actual goal.
All DaltonE said was he wanted women out of gaming, he didn't pose any arguments, rhetorical questions or statements, neither did he push any ideas. He made opinions on the current state of the FGC and gave his opinion on one of the chief causes of the current state. While DaltonE had a goal, he did not outline methodology or agendas to get them out, he said he wanted them out.
You're an avid gamer, Mike, yet you insulted gamers with stereotypes of being horrid nerds who are bad with women. Now, people for real are nothing like stereotypes that are pushed forward as narratives by bad actors who are trying achieve an agenda.
I don't mind your opinions, Mike, you have some balanced and fair ones, but I assert that this one to me, isn't a good take. People, I assume you would agree here, are not always going to be a stereotype, neither are they that simple or cut and dry. I will not stereotype women gamers as prostitutes or the like, as I know of many who are indeed good and decent people who are genuine gamers and fans of the hobby. However, there have been and will bad actors, and some are female who will push narratives and will have agendas. There are also women in the gaming space who will use sex as a tool to get success and material gain.
DaltonE isn't wrong on that front, but simply blaming lonely men solely for what goes on here isn't the answer. You see, I too believe that gaming is for many people *_if they want it,_* but not ones who can make a bag off of it without the passion or the dedication to it. I think there are far too many disingenuous actors in this space now, I think they are the problem.

It was a random number pulled out of thin air to push a narrative and when pressed, cannot be backed up. The number within the context of his explanation made even less sense if you actually read what he said which is why I said it's rage bait.
No bro, that's not an opinion. He said it as a matter of fact. He said that they're either E-Girls/OnlyFans models or Trans. That's not an opinion. That's either true or false and we know it's false, therefore he is pushing a narrative. There is no evidence to quantify that claim. An opinion would be the first part where he said girls in the FGC are ugly. That's his opinion of how they look, but the rest of it was a statement, spoken in an absolute way with a call to action to end. If you push a narrative under false pretences and end with the idea that women should be pushed out of the scene, it does scream incel. I didn't say he is one, but I did say it screams incel. Why else make up random lies and push them as matter of fact and then call for all women to leave if not for the contemptuous reasons? At no point in my discussion with ChilledScrub or my video reaction did I use the phrase "horrid gamer". I don't know where you got that from but it's not me. I specifically said there is a problem with some men crowding women at tournaments and not showering. Bad smells emitting from tournaments is a well known thing. Of course there are bad women in this space and when they do something that I notice, they'll be given the same treatment (not that I haven't done this already).
