Hi a great video and what amazing projects for the city of Benidorm. The central park idea i like the sound of with a green space and something fir the youth. A shopping centre is great for Benidorm. The Old town of Benidorm is lovely as are the two beaches and the long promenade. There are so many parts to Benidorm. I have been once but maybe one day i will give it ago again and stay in the old town. I visited Benidorm late November 2022.
Great video as always, idea for more content would be bus trips or scooter over to La cala showing off the many bars and restaurants, view point and beach. Also Albir is just round the corner too that people don't know much about and not realise there are so many places you can go for a day trip from beni :)
@Richy91 we have done a few around there and Albir and Altea but must be over 2 years ago now. A lot has changed! Definitely worth doing some more videos like that, unfortunately not many people watch them if its not Benidorm, but hey ho x

I always remember sitting outside the Cheap and Cheerful bar Lucy last time the Girlfriend and myself were there it was always known as the derelict building. It has been at least 5 plus years since the last time we were there but hoping you will be able to shed some light on what is happening with this building.??
It never ceases to amaze me how much building work goes on in Benidorm, with hardly any disruption to traffic or residents. There’s not many countries that allow construction workers to drink bottles of beer whilst at work and go and have a few more at lunch, reminds me of the UK back in the 70’s.
Fabulous video! We’re all for new developments, building etc etc. We’re moving from France to Spain this year and have to say Benidorm and surrounding areas are definitely up on the list of possible locations. Seems like you’d want for nothing 😊
Where staying at Port benidorm right now. The noise WHAT NOISE .what a fantastic hotel . Fantastic location. I say don't be put off by negative comments. Like I say where here now and we haven't heard anything

There has been a massive clearing of the trees on the pavements from sort of camping Villasol up to the Farmacia, down to the all weather football pitches and past imed. Not the usual trimming for regrowth. What's happening as these provided much needed shade in the summer!
At the side of villasol by the roundabout all the way up to the outdoor market is going to be a new development of hotels, restaurants and green space, google Ensanche Levante redevelopment
What is happening at the top of the square? Any news of the old Sinatra's and The Birdcage replacements? Are Coyote Ugly and or any other bars ever going to open?
Coyote ugly pulled out ages ago. there was movement in Old sinatras a few weeks back but seems to have stopped again now. needs some big investors to sort that top end out

Not a complaint but when we stayed at Flamingo Oasis last year the noise coming from the construction of the new hospital plus the building of a new supermarket over the road was horrendous! In fairness, TUI gave us the option of staying in a different hotel but we like the Oasis so just accepted it

Lucy I stay sometimes at Cala Frinestrat what is the story behind that unfinished hotel it's been like that for many many years it's a shame as it's an eyesore on a beautiful bay a video would be great ,tony from Leyland thanks
Apparently they built it higher than the initial plans had given permission for. When challenged and asked to take it back to the height it should be they said no if you don't let us build it this high we'll just leave it like that.. and that's how it has stayed. That's the story I heard a few years ago.

Yes it's a great hotel the rooms are great and its central the pools a bit small with it's own bar the foods absolutely excellent and the staff are really nice you'll have a great time honest regards to you
Hi . I was booked to stay at the port Benidorm in July 2025 with Tui They emailed me to say the building work would be ongoing so I cancelled my holiday. Don't want to be lying round the pool with all that building work going on now I have to try and find another hotel 😢😢. I was looking forward to it aswell 😢
Further changes to Pensions which could affect some pensioners coming into force. DWP warns pensioners of a change that could see payments stop from April. Some pensioners have been notified by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) that their payments will cease from April 5. The DWP says that while some people can transition to a new payment system, others may not be eligible after the changes take effect however, this shift follows the loss many experienced with Winter Fuel Payments becoming means-tested last year. Everyone should check post for a letter.
