I’ve been doing RUclips for almost 2 years. Got started with shorts, just to figure things out. I have 1100+ subscribers today, but 1000 of them came mostly from those shorts, which were all over the place in terms of topic/niche/style. Now having posted 56 long form videos (some of them now unlisted or private) I’m wondering whether to pivot this channel and zero in on a niche, or start over with a new channel and keep this one for any passion project videos that don’t fit the other one. My other problem is committing to a niche. I’ve taken your niche finder course (great stuff btw), watched a ton of videos on the subject, read books on the topic, and still feel like I can’t decide who I want to serve. The indecision is stunting my progress, but no amount of ikigai talk is helping 😂 so what should I do my dude? Shed your Sean light over here 💡

Does RUclips kill videos ? My shorts specifically will get 500-600 views with 75% watch time in first hour and then 10 views over the next month. I’m no great content creator or big channel but that seems weird.
I’ve been doing RUclips since June. My niche is faith based content. My goal is specifically to reach men, to help them become better men of God. I’ve done a few video series on certain books of the Bible. I also will just do random videos and I recently started posting my podcast content on here as well.
