If you use the playmat it takes up less space and it keeps the infant entertained while the other sims do what they have to do. Honestly I just make them sleep in it. It’s very handy.
It seems like there are no gameplay benefits to having a crib rather than a playmat. I love the roleplay of fixing a mobile to the crib, but it doesn't seem to make the infants sleep better, longer, or more quickly
If you do future university let's plays, if you set them to take notes during class it boosts their grade. I just figured this out :)
Yes! I always do this. Sometimes i don't get their homework done and taking notes helps boost the grade.
I do that with all my uni plays and they get straight A’s. I dont even have to study for exam 😂

I wish other sims that aren't the parents could refuse to care for someone else's babies. Like if they said something like "this sim is not in the mood to take care of others responsibilities". Lol
I did a rags to riches challenge. I downloaded a drug mod, my sim sells drugs and then married and divorced two rich husbands taking all their money. Lol STILL trying to meet the money goals

Can sims get on government assistance like food stamps and wic? If so that would be interesting to add that to an lp like this.
I know there is an option in SimRealist's SNB mod for government assistance for low income sims. But I think bc Blair has a FT job they might not qualify. Not sure if there is a wic mod out there but that would be cool
