Usually watch your MM challenge on a Sunday but only watching it today, Tuesday. What a beautiful page that turned out to be. Just love the way you cut out the flower and the leaf when you realized you had almost glued them down. You always come up with a plan. You are so creative, it is a gift. God bless you and hope the toes are better.

Wow…stretching outside that box into mixed media has really worked for you Barbie! I want sure how this one was going but I love the results. I love inking the crinkles…makes that background really pop. The opening with the fibers across and the slow stitch was a nice addition. Then you topped it off with that cute little collage. Brilliant gf!🥰

I wasn't sure how it was going to work out either but I pulled it off, even with that big oopsie ......... I'm so happy you enjoyed the video. Mixed media is more work and more messy! I have NO patience and I don’t like messy. Therefore, I don’t delve into the major mixed media stuff. I mostly will do texture paste through a stencil, fabric mixed with paper and the dry wall tape thrown in there, paint You know things that don’t make to big of a mess! 😂

Dang, girlfriend ....... I wasn't sure where all that mod podge was going and was holding my breath. I pulled it off, thank goodness and it all came out great. I *always* learn something new from you. What is slow stitch? I've heard the term, but haven't quite grasped the meaning. I like that you didn't start over on a new sheet - great lesson in how to roll with it when a project doesn't completely go how you thought it might. The pink paper adds a nice little pop of something something. The slits you make to tuck in pieces here and there are pretty nifty. Especially love the cupcake behind the bow. What kind of marker did you use? It added the perfect bit of oomph. Thank you for sharing this with us.

This type of video is very helpful for those who might want to scrap their page and start over ..... nope, try your best to muddle through and make lemonade out of lemons!! 🍋🍋🍋Slow stitching is any type of needle and thread stitching. You might be too young to remember, but in the 70's I use to 'slow stitch' crosses on pillow cases along with a straight stitch to make pretty designs .... it's any stitch you do by hand where it takes time to complete. The marker I used was from a kit called Kingart Watercolor Brush Marker Set of 36 and it was purchased on Amazon. I'll show it in my upcoming crossword puzzle collage video so you can see the entire kit. Thanks so much for watching and leaving a wonderful comment. Christine, OMGosh, YES YES YES I am doing the bird collage (which you will see up Sunday at 5 pm my time) ..... It was a crazy crazy week for me and I got so far behind. I wanted it up yesterday (Saturday) abut again, my son has friends in from another state and momma was busy helping with the entertainment. 💃👯💃 My crossword collage will be up Monday ....... so you all will be bombarded with double videos this week so don't think your eyesight is askew 👁👁 I am so blessed to have you as a subbie.
