It is beautiful, Barbie. Yes! I do remember “In the Heat of the Night!” I watched it growing up and caught the reruns when my boys were little. It is a great show. 😊❤

You cannot go wrong with I Love Lucy ... I've also been watching I Dream of Jeannie ...... that show is so much fun. I love the structure of the background that leads to the construction of this collage. I love your sugar bowl. I have my grandmother's tea set that came to Australia with her from England in 1927. 😊

Hi Barb. This collage has a lot of cool elements working together. I like the way you think. Neat stuff! I also like In The Heat Of The Night. With the heat and really bad humidity Iv'e been staying inside watching some old t.v. Most of the new stuff doesn't interest me. I've been watching Carol Burnett, Johnny Carson and Barney Miller. Julia, the olides are the besties 😂 we all need a good laugh these days and plenty were laughing in the 70's and 80's. Today, hubby and I binged on the documentary about David Becker (Netflix) ...... what an extremely nice, genuine, caring person he is. Shay, I can't resist a good book. TFW and I always love your comments. I am so happy you liked the sugar bowl tip and trick. I am over the moon today. I got my results back from Cleveland today and all is perfect, so perfect I could do cartwheels and I believe all the prayers, love and good vibes sent to me and God did the trick. I just love your style. I also find your talking/thinking out loud ( I do this) about your on placement etc. is the best way to determine what the finished work might look like. Impatient viewers may be frustrated by the slow process without realizing that once you have glued or stamped it's permanent. Better to rearrange a few times to see the overall effect and whether it pleases you.

Thank you very much for your kind comment, (a very acurate one) and for sitting with me through this process. I could speed things up but I really don't like to do that. I do not want to shortchange the viewer, especially if they are new to collage art and not sure where or how to start, and then go from there. If there are those who do get frustrated with the slow process, they need to step away and come back to it. TFW and one thing I like to do is share, so ....... you are welcome. Have a wonderful week!

💜💜💜tfs💜💜💜 clear stamps need a quick condition before using, during the making process they have a thin film on them, just use your finger and run over the stamp until it becomes like a cloudy colour. Alternatively you can use a white eraser. Other people swear by using versamark ink and putting that on the stamp first and then inking it. Just have a play and have fun. I always use a white rubber on new clear stamps and stamp off on scrap until it "works". Stazon isn't recommended for clear stamps, just a heads up. It also appeared that your ink pads were a bit dry. Hope all this helps, loved this one... you got me all inspired to go stamp on some pages that I thought were finished and now decided maybe not! LOL
Thank you for the tutorial on these stamps. I've always had a bit of trouble with them and all you told me, I never knew. I so appreciate all the help and insight on why I have been having awful luck with them. I'm not one to do lots of research so until someone fills me in, I struggle and question myself why things aren't working. 🤣 I'll definitely have a stamp party and take care of the ones I'll be using down the road. LOL.. sorry (that was a bad joke), but yeah, we all learn from each other and sometimes I offer advice and get a bad reaction so I'm less sharey these days, but I guessed you'd be nice about it. Tone never comes across well in text, but please know, whenever I say ANYTHING it's always with love and just want to help. Have a great day! I'm off to condition a heap of new clear stamps I just got today - lots and lots of stamping on my pages coming up (I ordered as many large number sets as I could find cause I just loved the look of adding huge numbers thanks again!) 💜💜💜

I do get the 'tone' thing but I think I know your purple hearts 💜💜💜 and I don't think I'd ever take offense if you were to offer. People can get pretty stinky but not me, only if I receive a cheeky email and I've had a sh*t ton of bad news at my back door 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm still new to lots of crafting supplies so keep telling me how to use everything I have. After all your correct .......... You don't know, what you don't know, because you don't know you don't know it !! ........ I learned that one a long time ago; think about that !! 🤗 xoxo
Such a lovely collage, Barbie! Love the pops of blue with the red. The numbers and filigree stamping adds a nice bit of extra zhuzh. I also appreciate the tip about using a bowl or dish for the rounded areas that allows you to use the flowers in two places while giving the impression they were emerging from behind the gold orb. Thanks for taking us along the journey of how you decided what to use where. I love learning from you. I hope you get good news from the dr. Almost forgot to ask - you mentioned another channel that might be overlooked. Do you remember the name of the channel?

I'm so glad you enjoyed this video and yes, it needed some pops of blue ....... just a smidgen 💙🩵 Zhuzh and smidgen are such fun words. I love the word Hutzpah, too. Such fun words to roll off your tongue. I had to show that little tip with the bowl or cup, it's a life saver at times and it's always a good challenge to find jus the right item for youor ciircle, or should I say semicircle. Take an eraser over your stamp and It removes a film that then allows it to work better

What color ink are you using around the cut edges?
I believe it was Ranger Distress Ink Vintage Photo. TFW and good luck with your paper art. xo
