Well, the broadcaster's voice is how I make my living. Anyone can do it, trust me. All you have to have is the desire. The train knowledge comes from love of the hobby as does the video editing.
Your kind comments are much appreciated.

If you are wondering how the bridge surfaces at the Crosstown Connector at 0:50 at FL 60 are hanging there, it is practically easy: Inside the hollow tube where the roadway rides above, there are a series of cables that hold the segments in place that go to the nearest support column. Once the segments are joined additional cabling is installed to hold the segments in place; construction is practically the same as the present 1987 Sunshine Skyway. Great video by the way!

Great video! I see O700 at least twice a week if not more, and have several videos of it. Of course it helps when you commute along busch blvd every day! Really enjoyed it and faved!!!

  • @distantsignal

I knew that was concrete segmental construction, like the Skyway. Just never seen it done before. Did not know it was cables doing the binding. It's really stunning to see it in progress.
    Thanks for that info.

Also any footage of a local switching the brewery at Busch Gardens before was torn torn and tracks removed, any thing in St. Pete?

Interesting that 2315 is a road slug and seems permanently hooked to that 6900. I thought it was weird that it didn't have any radiator vents so I went and looked up what it was.

I've seen one of those ballast cleaning machines working here in Kentucky on the old L&N main, now CSX Louisville division main line sub. Pretty cool.

My hat's off to you some of these crossing don't look like your Sunday go to meeting hangout places. You've got your closed switching tower with graffiti with a lot of desolated places. Then there was the couch there on the side of one street, but I guess you are going to find a degree of urban decay in every city. Hey we even have it in our city. I know what you mean about chasing locals. We have short line that runs on ex TC, exL&N, exCSX and you never know when they're coming through. They have to work around morning and afternoon commuter rail. They often haul crushed stone into the city as well as sand for asphalt paving. It's as if they have their own class one railroad though they interchange with CSX and terminate about four or five counties east of Nashville. I've watched them go from a rag tag bunch GE U25s to all Dash 8s all with four axle configurations.
