    It took me 6 months to read through The Work of Human Hands. Not because it was difficult to understand, but because it demands that the reader recognize the principles, motives and intentions of those who created the Novus Ordo. The mind recoils from such evil.
    Very grateful for the grace God gave to help me move to a non "una cum" Mass. May the dear soul of Fr. Cekada rest in peace.❤

      "Work of Human Hands" by Father Cekada (RIP) is one of the greatest books ever written. It is unfortunate that it had to be written, but it definitively makes the case, with references and historical context, that the Novus Ordo Missae is invalid. Imho, it's like an expanded Ottaviani Intervention.

    I went to a Polka Mass once. People were snickering and laughing at the peculiarities of the Mass.
    That's when I decided I wasn't going to attend N.O. again, even if I couldn't get to the Latin Rite.

      You did the right thing because it is an illicit Mass. It is an invention of heretics, theologians condemned by the church, modernists, socialists, and Vatican II Council that changed Catholic truth to make doctrine and the liturgy more acceptable to Protestants. I don't have a Traditional Mass within 1 hr of me, so I watch Mass every day online and pray my Rosary and other devotions.

    I wonder of the Novus Ordo fathers were explained about the parallel church. Did they go through years at seminary not knowing ? Do they still dont know ? Our Lady has told us in her prophesy about the false church ...i look around me at my novus ordo parish and only see ignorance . People have no idea that orginial church still exists. This is a serious crisis . And its globally .

    It's not about the clothing, incense, and bells for me although I think they are important to the expression. What is most important to me, is that so many prayers/wording were removed from the Liturgy to be replaced with nothing or something modernist. My desire is to attend and live the Mass from the earliest time dating back to Jesus and the Apostles. Too many options and colors now that take us away from the roots and moreso, the Truth! I think if English speaking people can follow the Latin Mass using Prayer Books/Missals in English, so can other languages and cultures. They just need it printed by their dioceses. Others I know personally dont follow with a book in English, however have a strong sense of the depth of presence of prayer, Jesus and Truth. The homily and readings are repeated in English and that can be done in other languages also. Bottom line - there is no excuse not to attend the Latin Mass. (sorry I was so longwinded) - Pax Christi!

      For me it’s the silence; the drawing upwards of the soul towards heaven. The beauty of the externals is good but not the core of what draws me to the TLM.

      "there is no excuse not to attend the Latin Mass" - in your opinion, sure, although it is wrong.
      The Latin Mass doesn't date back to the time of Jesus and his Apostles, there are older rites that do. The Latin Mass is Eurocentric and is a timeless celebration no doubt.
      Secondly the Novus Ordo has had tremendous success across Africa and Asia and was the liturgical vehicle for many conversions. Unless you claim that the VII Church is totally different you can't throw the baby out with the bath water.

    The new mass has been described as feeling cringe, fake, tacky etc in contrast to the ageless beauty of the old mass because the external is a reflection of the internal. It used to exude grace glory and awe because it was focused on God and repentance. Now the new mass exudes confusion and a blurred vision, with banal trappings because it focuses on man and his needs or feelings.

    "A catholic was morally obliged to seek out a Mass that treated sacred things reverently", So if your a million of miles away to attend the Mass, and don't have the money for air travel that is needed to cover the weekly cost, your doomed.

  • @DeusVult1190
    @DeusVult1190 3 дня назад +2

    While I would rather see the TLM in the vernacular than the NO in Latin, it all ultimately comes down to the words of consecration of the Host, and if the priest/bishop possess valid consecration/ordination:
    The true words of consecration, as affirmed by the Ecumenical Council of Florence:
    "...the holy Roman Church, relying on the teaching and authority of the apostles Peter and Paul…uses this form of words in the consecration of the Lord's Body:
    This is my body. And of His blood: For this is the chalice of my blood, of the New and eternal Testament: The mystery of faith, which shall be shed, for you and for many, unto the remission of sins." ...
    As the Douay-Rheims Bible online commentary shows, the words are linked to Daniel 9:27.
    This stretches back to the Apostles.
    Starting there, it continued forwards from then until Florence, was affirmed by the Council of Florence, continued on to the Council of Trent and past it, and was present in missals up until 1962.
    The word "all" is not the same as the word "many" and are two entirely different words and if all meant many they would say many.
    Jesus, in Mk 14:24, and in Mt, used the word "many." Prophet Daniel in Dan. 9:27 ("And he shall confirm the covenant with many, in one week: and in the half of the week..."
    Douay-Rheims Bible online, commentary:
    "27] "In the half of the week": or, in the middle of the week, etc. Because Christ preached three years and a half: and then by his sacrifice upon the cross abolished all the sacrifices of the law." This explanation explains why some oppose using the words "the many."

      "Work of Human Hands" explains clearly why Holy Mass MUST be in Latin. God bless you.

    • @DeusVult1190
      @DeusVult1190 3 дня назад +2

      @GenePacelli The Sacred Scriptures, even in western Europe, at one time would have had a reading come from the Septuagint OT/Greek New Testament, but in time they both were translated into Latin c. 190 AD when the Vetus Latina ascended, followed by the Vulgate, followed by the Douay-Rheims. So can a mass be said in Greek? Obviously. But, all that said, the TLM should be said in Latin.

    • @DeusVult1190
      @DeusVult1190 3 дня назад +1

      Additionally... There are no NT scriptures nor first century written evidence of the laity receiving the Host in the hand. As early as 126 AD, Pope St. Sixtus I, concerning the Host, affirmed that only consecrated ministers could even touch sacred vessels.
      Jesus consecrated twelve Apostles and we only see evidence of them receiving in the hand, and by Tradition, Cleopas, one of the Seventy-Two, was consecrated and touched the bread at Emmaeus.

    • @alby4548
      @alby4548 3 дня назад +8

      A sedevacant believes in the petrine office,the papacy and all catholic doctrines and dogmas., just not anti popes . A protestant chooses what they'll believe or not,what scripture means and doesn't, kind of their own pope and ultimately their own god.

      @@StAnthonyPaduaRadTrad there's no "for me". There is the truth. The Eastern Orthodox are in schism last time I checked.
      Please define Novus Ordo as a group for me, since that is not an official denomination within the Church. Also interested to know what authority anyone except a subsequent Pope has to declare any of the prior Popes invalid.
