Considering that this was before Tom’s mental breakdown and getting clean and sober, it’s obvious that Tom knew he was in a bad place and needed out. He had no idea where he was headed but knew he had to get there. After that breakdown, we got the Tom we have today. It’s sad that he had to go through hell first but it made him strong and gave him the ultimate level of “Don’t give any F’s”.

Real appreciative of you for reacting to this trilogy. Happy you seem to enjoy it as much as I do. He started realizing even back then the path he wanted his music to go and what he wanted it to portray. The guy acting as Two-face who is Brandon Hart is Tom's best friend.
