    In the last min of video you discussed two types if + both increase and if - one increase other decrease then what about both decrease ...??? Please answer this

    so...the data set here is not a sample but the entire population....correct? I am using schweser notes and the denominator is (n-1) and not n while calculating covariance.
    Also Thanks a bunch for uploading these videos. I am seriously considering buying the video lectures.

      If i am not wrong, when we do it for POPULATION we use N, when we do it for SAMPLE we use N-1. This is because of degree of freedom please. please suggest me a good article or video on degree of freedom, if you get.

    X- X bar is not correctly done in excel, You have copied the formula for y - ybar !

    dude your calculations are wrong for column G. wrong formula 5.3*1.50 isnot -8.
    would be useful ifu werent in such a damn hurry.

      Hi,
      Apologies for causing inconvenience. I tried looking at the calculation you were referring to, and it appears to be correct.
      It's actually 5.3*- 1.5 = -8. And as long as manual calculation and excel function generated values are same, we can be sure that calculations are correct!

      ***** Yeah I was just confuised with the initial mistake. apologies for that. Thanks for the Video very helpful otherwise.currently studying for my investment risk and taxation exam for CISI and not too much online help available so thanks.
