This really resonated. So often through out my career I have heard the phrases that will do, just do enough to get by, and it frustrates me so much. I want to do my best, to prepare as well as I can, to deliver exceptional service to clients.
I am 15 and I am going to use 20 20 20 formula. I hope it will really help me to become a great performer in my field and also a better person. Thank you!
Robin is INCREDIBLE. His videos were the spark of my long journey to self-mastery. I am so grateful for access to this content. Thank you so much for your commitment to bringing such high value content to your audience 🙏🏽 ❤ you are deeply appreciated.
It is the attention to details that is key to progression and development . Not to be confused with perfectionism . This, I believe is what I understood from the motivational talk. 👍
conversations are superficial because MANY people are more calculating than I realized, in business and even outside of work. They put their attention toward people that they think can help them and will often act differently once someone with money or power comes around, even if it isn't an important social interaction, it just becomes a habit and I don't think a lot of people are even aware they are acting this way. I am not superficial, but I am not a genius either. Just do what I can to get by in this life the best I can. I think a lot of people put way to much effort into a job, not realizing jobs often come and go and its often outside your control. Even in sales, you might have a downturn in the industry, or have a sales manager that plays favorites. i had a friend who used to look up to a sales person, as if they were something special because they made the most money, then years later it was revealed this sales person had a person connection to the sales manager. no matter how hard the other sales staff worked, they weren't going to get more success if they stayed.
Sir Robin , thank you so much for sharing your inspiring video. On How to master your craft to make a world class will power by working hard on the important things that really matters through deep focus, patience and persistency that leads to sustainable magnificent results.
4:57 -'the mass mediocratization of humanity'.this is really frightening and it's happening in full swing in india.sir you just opened my eyes.i read your book 'the monk who sold his ferrari' and i became an instant fan of yours.and now, after watching this video,i have become your worshipper. you are great.👏👏👏
Robin sir, This is really helpful All that u share in the book The 5 AM Club is really revolutionary Thank you very much for such great gifts to the humanity.
Robin, I read The Monk that Sold his Ferrari when it first came out, a gift from my mom.... That was a time when I read a lot of books.... I am once again, back to books, and the one diet I am cleaning up is the content I have been feeding my mind. Technology has become fast food for the mind.... And its addictive. I find creativity, insight, and self connection is being crushed. The internet, apps, social media has become peoples source of validation, and that is the first step. Through people online, people we belive we have formed a connection with (we have never physically met) are recipricating the reinforcement of a false sense of self, only further disconnecting from our authentic selves. And our brain rewards us with dopomine. We may want to implement technology fasting.. Empty our minds completely.... Oh right! Mediration With out the apps, guided voices in the background, for that is just superficial! This realization
Mechanics of daily heroism. Granularity. 4 rivers philosophy. Tiny details With better awareness we make better choices with better choices we get better results.
Great content. It’s amazing for me that I’ve stopped last night reading book 5am club on the page 88. I understand this 3 step formula even more now! Thank you Robin.
God is in the details! That is where the glory or full success is. Wisdom gives us better awareness to make the choices that are best not just good. However, the success is in the followthrough.
Amazing and very inspiring especially to listen to first thing in the morning. My question is, because everyone else is so rushed and superficial, how would they slow down to appreciate your granularity? Would your efforts be overlooked especially if these people are your superiors at work. Would your efforts go in vain? And you think - What's the point? I'm still going nowhere and then you resume on the superficial wagon like everyone else...? Would love to hear any of your thoughts!
It's astonishing to think I just found out about you recently. I truly am fond of your words and feel obligated to implement your approach. Currently reading your 5 AM club book and may I add, phenomenal thus far. More power to you and please continue to promote the mindset of granularity across the masses. I'm sick of superficiality taking over the workplace, my relationship, and my planet.
OK, I *have* to ask this: is there something wrong with Robin? He seems way less energetic than usual -- even his voice is softer these days. The videos are still awesome tho.
Robin Sharma is the Indian Paulo Coelho. So overrated. The superficial part was great example of projection. Just because you think a long time doesn't mean you are smart. Robin thinks out of enjoyment and distraction. It's what Einstein warned us about.
I agree, lighthearted & superficial everywhere you go... This is why I truly believe in being connected to your purpose. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

People are in so much fear when they are asked to go deep. Superficial is so incredibly exhausting so it is our JOB to create more and accept no less.

This is overly romanticized. Take Flash, for instance - Jobs said it was a piece of garbage, and now it's gone (happily).
