I used to dislike Djokovic, was always a Federer fan. But things changed when all the Covid nonsense happened to him, being rejected from Australia after entering on a legal visa, after already having Covid twice, all for protecting his elite body. Pure thought police. But the way he put his principles ahead of his legacy and earnings shows what a real hero is made of. He is a real man - flawed, charismatic, stubbornly devoted to his craft and his beliefs. Most crucially, he didn’t cry foul or fold when unable to play in the most important tournaments in 2022 in Australia and the U.S. - instead, he came back to crush everyone, like a man on a mission. Being a real man means being the best you can be, it means fighting and never giving up, it means stubborn determination, it means giving a middle finger to all the losers who try to bring you down with their stupidity and their misplaced lust for ideological conformity. No, Djokovic overcame all of it, enough obstacles to crush even the best of us, and showed what a profound champion he is. Not only is he clearly the greatest player ever to pick up a racket, he is now clearly a great man, full stop. I applaud his resolve, his understanding of his roots and what real suffering is, his depth of character, his willingness to stand up to the cultist forces of conformity, even at great cost. To those who say that he made a choice and should pay for those choices, remember it is YOU who make him suffer, not himself. His conscience is clear. It is the cult of conformity, the authoritarian instinct, that is the true danger to us all. It is the submission to false authority that is the catalyst for human destruction. Novak Djokovic has stood up to these unfortunate instincts. He is a true thinker, and he has made his choice: he will not bend the knee no matter the cost. And for that, humanity will one day thank him as I thank him now.

@@asu4817 Federer lost his speed over the years getting older and wasn't as good like he use to. Djokovic got success over Federer towards the middle and end of his career and Nadal is only good on Clay
There is one more fact that proves Djokovic's greatness and his clear supremacy over Nadal: Nadal didn't manage to get the No. 1 spot once in the last 52 weeks despite having the full power of the tennis establishment behind him. Djokovic, on the other hand, managed to get the No. 1 spot last week despite having almost the full power of the tennis establishment against him.
@@superx1457 Which injury? To undeservedly take the No. 1 position he needed to make it to the second week of the US Open, but despite being physically healthy he lost in the 4th round to Frances Tiafoe, who wasn't even in the top 20 back then. And the match wasn't so close. He had another opportunity in the ATP finals (again, he was physically fine) if he earns 1000+ points, potentially even avoiding Djokovic before the final and he got a very comfortable draw and schedule (the tennis establishment was behind him) while Novak got a nightmare draw and schedule (the tennis establishment was against him). Nadal couldn't even pass the round robin stage, while Djokovic won the title undefeated. Speaking about injuries, Djokovic was injured during Australian Open 2023 (not as severely as he was in 2021, but still injured) but won the title, dropping only one set during the whole tournament. The opponents he had from the 3rd round onwards were 100% healthy but none of them even won a set against him. Injuries don't come from the sky. It is Nadal's choice to eat meat and dairy and eggs and gluten, therefore he pays the price. Djokovic's diet and his methods of physical and mental practice kept him away from serious injuries for most of his career. He's on such a level that even when he's physically wounded, he can win multiple Grand Slam titles and regain the no. 1 spot after so many disadvantages he faced compared to other players in the tour. If Nadal didn't manage to get the no. 1 spot after getting almost every possible unfair advantage over the other players on the tour, he's got some thinking to do.
More than a 🐐, Novak is one of the finest human beings one can see. I did cry when he was emotionally drained and was sobbing placing his head at the lap of his mother and cried like an innocent child. Because he knew the pain and suffering he endured last year when the shameless Australian Govt., then treated him as a criminal and orchestrated a malafide media campaign to demonise, disparage and denigrate him. To come back and prove to the world that Australian open always belongs to him is something remarkable and other-worldly. This victory has proved that Nadal's victory was anything but a fluke. Why Nadal was so eager to get Novak deported is rather obvious. I will bow my head to that one guy Kyrgois for standing up to Novak and raising his voice against the establishment. Even Medvedev did come to Novak's defense, but only cautiously. Novak gave the beating of their life to Alex Di Manaur and Tstispas who were most vocal in expressing their angst about Novak being treated special.
Thank you, Michael. I couldn't have said it any better. I was heartbroken & gutted by the way Novak was treated last year by these HYENAS, it was so disgusting, to say the least! The Championship point and the speech of Novak this year are the best thing ever! Truly the GOAT! 🐐 P/S: His 4th round on-court interview is too savage. It is a smack in the mouth of the unfair treatment he received last year! IDEMO NOLE!!!! 🏆🎾
#4 is a great point. When the tour was frozen Djokovic was on a 18 match win streak, with great momentum heading into the clay season. The rest of the tour being crammed in from August really ruined anyone's chances of winning multiple titles. He showed he still had form by winning both Cincinnati and Rome, but going the distance in both of those tournaments, going through the controversy at the USO, and travelling from North America to Europe without a break certainly didn't help. Djokovic won 37 matches in a row excluding the default heading into the RG final, and just looked worn out physically and mentally from the Autumn in his SF against Stef. I do think that final would have gone differently in a normal season, especially considering Nadal had stayed on the European clay courts, and was well rested after an early Rome exit. That's not even mentioning Wimbledon being cancelled, of which Djokovic had won the 2 previous and now 2 latter (and counting). Of course he was the favourite for that. You could even argue the USO default might not have happened without the pandemic, as that is what lead to the use of Hawkeye live and the removal of lines judges at Cincinatti the week before, where Djokovic was hitting balls to the back of the court of the ball kids with no issues, only for lines judges to return at the USO. Crazy crazy year that definitely negatively impacted Novak worse than any other player in the top 20. Don't even get me started on the cancelled Masters and strange & inconsistent rankings decisions
I agree with most of what you said apart from the French Open 2020. In a normal season the final might have been closer, but Nadal would have still won. Nadal deserved to win the 2020 and 2022 matches as much as Djokovic deserved to win the 2021 match.
It has been confirmed that the migration minister stated the reason for nole's deportation as "Djokovic entering the country has the potential to raise antivaxx sentiment or cause civil unrest". He was NOT deported for being unvaccinated, he had a legal exemption as he just recovered from covid. The government literally banned him because of his beliefs/political opinion, ones he never explicitly promoted. This was 100% a political decision, quite an authoritarian one to be exact. Absolutely shameful that other players didnt stand up for djokovic especially nadal. He knew if nole plays AO there is no way he is winning, hence rooted for getting him deported. I guess we found out who the real man of the two is.
Nadal never winning against Djokovic at Australian open, nor at Australia (ATP cup), and lost last two matches in Australia in straight sets. Hasn't won a single set against Nole on hard courts since 2013 US open final, losing 9 matches, 19/19 sets. Yet not only he didn't mention Nole when he won AO 2022 (like for example Alcaraz when he won US open) , but instead was one of the few players condemning him for "not following the rules". Despicable. He showed his true colors there. Big asterisk in Nadal's AO2022. The grand slam race could easily be 23-21 favoring Nole.
Great video as always!! Finally someone said it: there is no way in hell Nadal would have the 2022 Austrialian Open if Djokovic was allowd to play the tournament.
Love your videos man. Very informative. I was originally a hardcore Fed fan but Novak caught my eye after that impressive run at Miami and Montreal in 2007. Things changed from 2010, particularly the US open semis between Fed and Novak - I supported Fed initially but during that very match, I gained so much respect for Novak's mental fortitude - playing against a very pro Fed American crowd and saving match points to win the match. I think it was this match that converted me to favouring Novak over Fed. "This guy is incredible" I thought then; and I believed that he could perhaps intervene in the Fedal dominance of tennis then. 13yrs later - not only has he intervened, he has ascended above two of his biggest rivals, despite the adversity and discrimination he faces compared to Fedal. Aussie open title was redemption, winning the French open would be unprecedented - winning each major at least 3x! (and bitter sweet taking a sure slam title from Nadal).
Great comment. Regarding next RG, if you take a look at the betting quotas, Novak is #1 favorite, Nadal is #3 after Alcraz. If we use "follow the money" rule here, it's becoming more clear that no one believes that Nadal can pull out a top game even on clay.

Novak is the king of night session. In the night session is novak like nadal on clay. Novak has since 2011 a 100-4 win statistics by grandslams on all sourfaces
What a stat, that I didn't give much thought too as I thought he would of lost most of them then at the US open or to whom or where, but very impressive. If the other two champs had that stat the media would be harping on about it.
For me, this man, Novak Đoković, stands in line with the greats like Muhammad Ali and Jesse Owens, who where great athletes at their time, but what I even admire more, is the fact, that they ALL took a stance against the governments and media at that particular time. Jesse Owens as a Black man in the Southern States of the U.S. where Segregation still has been in place, just like Apartheid in South Africa, and he wanted to boycott the 1936 Olympics in Berlin because of the Hitler's Nazi Regime, but his coach Larry Snyder criticize him harshly for that and Jesse Owens had to participate in Berlin due to the public pressure and he then won 4 gold medals in front of Hitler's eyes and inside the Evil's Den! Muhammad Ali, who stood up against the oppression of the U.S. government and the Vietnam War as he refused to get drafted by the U.S. Army. His famous speech where he said: _"Man, I ain't got no quarrel with them Viet Cong."_ _"Why should they ask me to put on a uniform and go ten thousand miles from home and drop bombs and bullets on brown people in Vietnam while so-called Negro people in Louisville are treated like dogs and denied simple human rights?"_ He risked of being imprisoned for 5 years. He hence he got fined over 10.000$ and on the same day the NY State Athletic Commission suspended his boxing license and they stripped him of his title, this lasted over three years. His got stripped of his passport as well! After that Ali lost his first comeback fight against Joe Frazer, but then in rematch he won, which staged the legendary fight versus George Foreman _The Rumble in the Jungle_ where Ali got the W! Now we're witnessing a similar story with the same gratitude when it comes to fight against oppression and overcoming adversities. Novak Đoković is without a doubt in the same boat with these two legends, Muhammad Ali and Jesse Owens! We are witnessing history!!! And actually the last year's ban allowed him to recover better and get more strength, so that he even was able to beat his opponents in the first 4 matches with 1,5 leg. They wanted to weaken him, but they made him in fact stronger!
Djokovic is clearly the best tennis player in history. Thank God he coincided with the 2 and 3 (Nadal and Federer) in the history of tennis and was able to demonstrate with numbers and facts (favorable h2h) that he was superior to both. With a couple of Wimbledon more (9 in total for 8 of Federer) he would show that he was in another level. 🤷🤷♂️👏👏
Totally agree! The Australian Open was the Australian Closed last year therefor last year's Australian should not count as a grandslam! No closed tournament can count as a grandslam!

Over the years, Fedal fans have come up with the most super hilarious excuses to convince mostly themselves, that their idols are the goats instead of Novak. I came across one in particular, almost two years ago who would make literally ANYONE look like an absolute genius. The most common excuse being the "ageing and decline" excuse which you have debunked with flying colours in one of your videos. The particular fool that I'm referring to even tried to suggest that Federer was declining from 2008 instead of 2011. 😂😂😂 Imagine being in decline from 2008 onwards and winning your last Slam in 2018. That's not how declining works. 😂😂😂 Novak haters calling Novak lovers annoying is a case of the toilet calling the kitchen filthy.
He did recently admit that he's poking his nose into matters that are 'none of his business'. But that's exactly what makes his greatness transcend this competitive pageant we call tennis. Само цепаj, брате!
No1e has just won AO2023 with one leg against 10-15 years younger and fully fit players... I will tell my grandchildren: There were many great tennis players. Two among them were above them all. But there was ONE that words can not describe him. No one has ever, and no one will ever play like him. Only he constantly defeated the evil media, the hostile crowd, the world elite, and big players at the same time. The one and only, the best ever, the GOAT NOVAK DJOKOVIC!!!
I’m a huge Novak fan, but you can’t take anything from Nadal, those two guys are something else! It’s obvious to everyone since 2011 who’s the best player. We should be all blessed to witness this great moments in history of tennis. Leave politics to the bustards and enjoy all the great human beings. Love to all ❤
As a Federer fan I like Nadal's decency and behaviour too but lets not kid ourselves that he is extremely unsporting (perhaps of all Grandslam champions till date) in the way he chooses to fudge the rankings by skipping tournaments and pulling out of ones where he has to face potential better players and saving himself for ones where he has no competition whatsoever.
I lost respect for Nadal after his behaviour last year, joking about Novak's deportation and then saying later on that the tournament doesn't need him. This on top of the negative comments he made about Djokovic throughout 2021, his most successful year to date (calling Djokovic obsessed, saying Weeks at #1 record was irrelevant and then that shady CNN interview) He has always been envious of him, and obsessed with winning (hence the constant injections) but it was hidden until now. The mask finally fell off.
I love your channel, looking forward to watch more videos from you!! Btw, do you know what happened to Monica Seles back in the 90s, about the stabbing, I would like to hear from your views. She was one of my favourite female player along side Jana Novotna(RIP)
Banned from AO 2022 Disqualified from USO 2020 Wimbledon 2020 cancelled Banned from USO 2022 This is why he’s the GOAT. Nadal should be running away with it, but he isn’t.
Amazing that everyone was ready to crown Roger as the Goat, even Nadal. But as soon as Djokovic entered the scene and they realised the two were going to be left in the dust by Nole, the conversation changed.
There is no GOAT race for some time now. Nadal won his last Wimbledon in 2010, before Nole's ascent in 2011. Hasn't won a set in almost 10 years against Nole on hard courts and was beaten badly in AO 2019, beaten so bad that he runs away from Nole off-clay like vampire from a cross. Keep dishing out the facts Goatkovic, the truth will set the people free.
Excellent summary.👍 First they talked about how old Federer was when he was 35, then about his grace (as if tenis were figure skating and as if the artistic impression was being scored), and now the question of GOAT is relativized as something that cannot be measured, although all indications point unequivocally to Nole being the real Goat
The game is not over yet.As his coach Ivanisevic said if everything is in order with Djokovic's health,he could play for two to three more years and that means not only winning more Grand Slams and Masters tournaments but also surpassing Jimmy Connors in terms of the number of tournaments won who has the most on the enternal list that is 109.Djokovic has 93 for now but as I said the game is not over yet.
The only point I disagree with is that it's Federer, not Nadal, who is the most overrated tennis player of all time. After Djokovic, Nadal is the mentally toughest of all time. Fed folds up like a cheap lawn chair when things aren't going his way on the biggest stages, whereas Nadal has always given 100% (OK, Nadal has pulled out of big tournaments to avoid playing Novak, but still...)
For us on this channel, the truth about Nole being the Goat has been, obvious and accepted many years ago. I hope Nole is preparing his final assault on the Nadal 'Goat' issue in Paris. I have a strong feeling that when he captures the French Open Nadal's retirement will appear on the horizon very soon.
Don't take away anything from Carlos Alcaraz,he is a great player and he has a bright future in tennis. The truth is that Novak Djoković would've been number 1 the whole last year, but we all know what happened. One thing i'd like to understand : how did not awarding points to players at the Wimbledon grandslam benefit the players ? They should've frozen the rankings for that tournament. As far as who really finished the year as number 1,it was the player who won Nitto finals without losing a single match, and we all know who that tennis superstar is :)))
“Learn to love the hate. Embrace it. Enjoy it. You earned it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and everyone should have one about you. Haters are a good problem to have. Nobody hates the good ones. They hate the great ones.” - Kobe Bryant
I'm thrilled Djokovic got his vindication for all the hatred, humiliation and abuse he suffered for refusing the toxic jab. So many of his colleagues abandoned him in his time of need and worse many of them ridiculed him for it. Like Djokovic said, a lot of masks fell off last year. That's what makes this win probably the greatest in his career. He went through a hell of a lot in the past 12 months to not only come back but to win. His emotional reaction to winning his 10th AO proved it took EVERYTHING out of him to win this slam. Truly a WARRIOR, a man of integrity and immense strength and resilience. The GOAT hands down.

@@asu4817 Federer lost his speed over the years getting older and wasn't as good like he use to. Djokovic got success over Federer towards the middle and end of his career and Nadal is only good on Clay
There is one more fact that proves Djokovic's greatness and his clear supremacy over Nadal:
Nadal didn't manage to get the No. 1 spot once in the last 52 weeks despite having the full power of the tennis establishment behind him.
Djokovic, on the other hand, managed to get the No. 1 spot last week despite having almost the full power of the tennis establishment against him.
Good point.
Great point.
I believe djokovic is the GOAT but Nadal wld have been a clear no.1 In noles absence if not for his injury

The Championship point and the speech of Novak this year are the best thing ever! The statement are clear: 'To be the best, you need a strong mind, passion for the sport and balls to stand up for injustice!' and 'Dare to follow your dream, do not let the vultures get to you, YOU CAN DO IT!'.
Truly the GOAT! 🐐
P/S: His 4th round on-court interview is too savage.
You are Hero, talking the truth!
Extralegal personal decision against the supreme court precedent for Nole to stay.
This is actionable...personally.
I remember..horrible!
Great video as always!! Finally someone said it: there is no way in hell Nadal would have the 2022 Austrialian Open if Djokovic was allowd to play the tournament.

Svaka čast na klipovima, zaslužuješ mnogo više.

Thank you for all you do for Novak Djokovic.
he was the goat for the last 3 years at least - not even close
Army. His famous speech where he said:
_"Man, I ain't got no quarrel with them Viet Cong."_
_"Why should they ask me to put on a uniform and go ten thousand miles from home and drop bombs and bullets on brown people in Vietnam while so-called Negro people in Louisville are treated like dogs and denied simple human rights?"_
He risked of being imprisoned for 5 years.

Imagine being in decline from 2008 onwards and winning your last Slam in 2018. That's not how declining works. 😂😂😂
Novak haters calling Novak lovers annoying is a case of the toilet calling the kitchen filthy.

He did recently admit that he's poking his nose into matters that are 'none of his business'. But that's exactly what makes his greatness transcend this competitive pageant we call tennis. Само цепаj, брате!

Nadal is the only "athlete" in the world who legally (ab)uses doping, and with the wholehearted support of the ATP, that's all I'll say.
As a Federer fan I like Nadal's decency and behaviour too but lets not kid ourselves that he is extremely unsporting (perhaps of all Grandslam champions till date) in the way he chooses to fudge the rankings by skipping tournaments and pulling out of ones where he has to face potential better players and saving himself for ones where he has no competition whatsoever.
now the world will see the third era from novak.....idemo
I lost respect for Nadal after his behaviour last year, joking about Novak's deportation and then saying later on that the tournament doesn't need him. This on top of the negative comments he made about Djokovic throughout 2021, his most successful year to date (calling Djokovic obsessed, saying Weeks at #1 record was irrelevant and then that shady CNN interview) He has always been envious of him, and obsessed with winning (hence the constant injections) but it was hidden until now. The mask finally fell off.

But as soon as Djokovic entered the scene and they realised the two were going to be left in the dust by Nole, the conversation changed.
I love the "without an asterisk" part

Новак Ђоковић је најбољи тенисер свију времена!!!
At this point there is no doubt left !
I'm sure claydal is 'cycling' (not talking about pedaling) hard to be fully ready for this 'last dance' of sorts - should be interesting.
