I used to dislike Djokovic, was always a Federer fan. But things changed when all the Covid nonsense happened to him, being rejected from Australia after entering on a legal visa, after already having Covid twice, all for protecting his elite body. Pure thought police. But the way he put his principles ahead of his legacy and earnings shows what a real hero is made of. He is a real man - flawed, charismatic, stubbornly devoted to his craft and his beliefs. Most crucially, he didn’t cry foul or fold when unable to play in the most important tournaments in 2022 in Australia and the U.S. - instead, he came back to crush everyone, like a man on a mission. Being a real man means being the best you can be, it means fighting and never giving up, it means stubborn determination, it means giving a middle finger to all the losers who try to bring you down with their stupidity and their misplaced lust for ideological conformity. No, Djokovic overcame all of it, enough obstacles to crush even the best of us, and showed what a profound champion he is. Not only is he clearly the greatest player ever to pick up a racket, he is now clearly a great man, full stop. I applaud his resolve, his understanding of his roots and what real suffering is, his depth of character, his willingness to stand up to the cultist forces of conformity, even at great cost. To those who say that he made a choice and should pay for those choices, remember it is YOU who make him suffer, not himself. His conscience is clear. It is the cult of conformity, the authoritarian instinct, that is the true danger to us all. It is the submission to false authority that is the catalyst for human destruction. Novak Djokovic has stood up to these unfortunate instincts. He is a true thinker, and he has made his choice: he will not bend the knee no matter the cost. And for that, humanity will one day thank him as I thank him now.

More than a 🐐, Novak is one of the finest human beings one can see. I did cry when he was emotionally drained and was sobbing placing his head at the lap of his mother and cried like an innocent child. Because he knew the pain and suffering he endured last year when the shameless Australian Govt., then treated him as a criminal and orchestrated a malafide media campaign to demonise, disparage and denigrate him.
To come back and prove to the world that Australian open always belongs to him is something remarkable and other-worldly. This victory has proved that Nadal's victory was anything but a fluke. Why Nadal was so eager to get Novak deported is rather obvious.
I will bow my head to that one guy Kyrgois for standing up to Novak and raising his voice against the establishment. Even Medvedev did come to Novak's defense, but only cautiously.

There is one more fact that proves Djokovic's greatness and his clear supremacy over Nadal:
Nadal didn't manage to get the No. 1 spot once in the last 52 weeks despite having the full power of the tennis establishment behind him.
Djokovic, on the other hand, managed to get the No. 1 spot last week despite having almost the full power of the tennis establishment against him.

    • @talbarak4522

@@superx1457 Which injury? To undeservedly take the No. 1 position he needed to make it to the second week of the US Open, but despite being physically healthy he lost in the 4th round to Frances Tiafoe, who wasn't even in the top 20 back then. And the match wasn't so close. He had another opportunity in the ATP finals (again, he was physically fine) if he earns 1000+ points, potentially even avoiding Djokovic before the final and he got a very comfortable draw and schedule (the tennis establishment was behind him) while Novak got a nightmare draw and schedule (the tennis establishment was against him). Nadal couldn't even pass the round robin stage, while Djokovic won the title undefeated.
Speaking about injuries, Djokovic was injured during Australian Open 2023 (not as severely as he was in 2021, but still injured) but won the title, dropping only one set during the whole tournament. The opponents he had from the 3rd round onwards were 100% healthy but none of them even won a set against him.
Injuries don't come from the sky. It is Nadal's choice to eat meat and dairy and eggs and gluten, therefore he pays the price. Djokovic's diet and his methods of physical and mental practice kept him away from serious injuries for most of his career. He's on such a level that even when he's physically wounded, he can win multiple Grand Slam titles and regain the no. 1 spot after so many disadvantages he faced compared to other players in the tour.
If Nadal didn't manage to get the no. 1 spot after getting almost every possible unfair advantage over the other players on the tour, he's got some thinking to do.

#4 is a great point. When the tour was frozen Djokovic was on a 18 match win streak, with great momentum heading into the clay season. The rest of the tour being crammed in from August really ruined anyone's chances of winning multiple titles. He showed he still had form by winning both Cincinnati and Rome, but going the distance in both of those tournaments, going through the controversy at the USO, and travelling from North America to Europe without a break certainly didn't help. Djokovic won 37 matches in a row excluding the default heading into the RG final, and just looked worn out physically and mentally from the Autumn in his SF against Stef. I do think that final would have gone differently in a normal season, especially considering Nadal had stayed on the European clay courts, and was well rested after an early Rome exit.
That's not even mentioning Wimbledon being cancelled, of which Djokovic had won the 2 previous and now 2 latter (and counting). Of course he was the favourite for that.
You could even argue the USO default might not have happened without the pandemic, as that is what lead to the use of Hawkeye live and the removal of lines judges at Cincinatti the week before, where Djokovic was hitting balls to the back of the court of the ball kids with no issues, only for lines judges to return at the USO.
Crazy crazy year that definitely negatively impacted Novak worse than any other player in the top 20. Don't even get me started on the cancelled Masters and strange & inconsistent rankings decisions

Hasn't won a single set against Nole on hard courts since 2013 US open final, losing 9 matches, 19/19 sets. Yet not only he didn't mention Nole when he won AO 2022 (like for example Alcaraz when he won US open) , but instead was one of the few players condemning him for "not following the rules". Despicable. He showed his true colors there. Big asterisk in Nadal's AO2022. The grand slam race could easily be 23-21 favoring Nole.

It has been confirmed that the migration minister stated the reason for nole's deportation as "Djokovic entering the country has the potential to raise antivaxx sentiment or cause civil unrest". He was NOT deported for being unvaccinated, he had a legal exemption as he just recovered from covid. The government literally banned him because of his beliefs/political opinion, ones he never explicitly promoted. This was 100% a political decision, quite an authoritarian one to be exact. Absolutely shameful that other players didnt stand up for djokovic especially nadal. He knew if nole plays AO there is no way he is winning, hence rooted for getting him deported. Love your videos man. Very informative. I was originally a hardcore Fed fan but Novak caught my eye after that impressive run at Miami and Montreal in 2007. Things changed from 2010, particularly the US open semis between Fed and Novak - I supported Fed initially but during that very match, I gained so much respect for Novak's mental fortitude - playing against a very pro Fed American crowd and saving match points to win the match. I think it was this match that converted me to favouring Novak over Fed. "This guy is incredible" I thought then; and I believed that he could perhaps intervene in the Fedal dominance of tennis then. 13yrs later - not only has he intervened, he has ascended above two of his biggest rivals, despite the adversity and discrimination he faces compared to Fedal.
Aussie open title was redemption, winning the French open would be unprecedented - winning each major at least 3x! (and bitter sweet taking a sure slam title from Nadal).

Nadal , covid boosted champion of Australian closed was out in 2nd round and Real defending AOpen champ is back and won it for the 10th time , Nadal lost 7 of his last 9 matches , dropped out of the top 5 and i’m pretty sure he won’t even finish the year in the top 10 😂😂😂

Djokovic is clearly the best tennis player in history.
Thank God he coincided with the 2 and 3 (Nadal and Federer) in the history of tennis and was able to demonstrate with numbers and facts (favorable h2h) that he was superior to both.
With a couple of Wimbledon more (9 in total for 8 of Federer) he would show that he was in another level.

For me, this man, Novak Đoković, stands in line with the greats like Muhammad Ali and Jesse Owens, who where great athletes at their time, but what I even admire more, is the fact, that they ALL took a stance against the governments and media at that particular time.
Jesse Owens as a Black man in the Southern States of the U.S. where Segregation still has been in place, just like Apartheid in South Africa, and he wanted to boycott the 1936 Olympics in Berlin because of the Hitler's Nazi Regime, but his coach Larry Snyder criticize him harshly for that and Jesse Owens had to participate in Berlin due to the public pressure and he then won 4 gold medals in front of Hitler's eyes and inside the Evil's Den!
Muhammad Ali, who stood up against the oppression of the U.S. government and the Vietnam War as he refused to get drafted by the U.S. Army. His famous speech where he said:
_"Man, I ain't got no quarrel with them Viet Cong."_
_"Why should they ask me to put on a uniform and go ten thousand miles from home and drop bombs and bullets on brown people in Vietnam while so-called Negro people in Louisville are treated like dogs and denied simple human rights?"_
He risked of being imprisoned for 5 years. He hence he got fined over 10.000$ and on the same day the NY State Athletic Commission suspended his boxing license and they stripped him of his title, this lasted over three years. His got stripped of his passport as well!
After that Ali lost his first comeback fight against Joe Frazer, but then in rematch he won, which staged the legendary fight versus George Foreman _The Rumble in the Jungle_ where Ali got the W!
Now we're witnessing a similar story with the same gratitude when it comes to fight against oppression and overcoming adversities. Novak Đoković is without a doubt in the same boat with these two legends, Muhammad Ali and Jesse Owens!
    We are witnessing history!!!
And actually the last year's ban allowed him to recover better and get more strength, so that he even was able to beat his opponents in the first 4 matches with 1,5 leg. They wanted to weaken him, but they made him in fact stronger!

Over the years, Fedal fans have come up with the most super hilarious excuses to convince mostly themselves, that their idols are the goats instead of Novak. I came across one in particular, almost two years ago who would make literally ANYONE look like an absolute genius.
The most common excuse being the "ageing and decline" excuse which you have debunked with flying colours in one of your videos. The particular fool that I'm referring to even tried to suggest that Federer was declining from 2008 instead of 2011. 😂😂😂
Imagine being in decline from 2008 onwards and winning your last Slam in 2018. That's not how declining works. 😂😂😂

So many of his colleagues abandoned him in his time of need and worse many of them ridiculed him for it. Like Djokovic said, a lot of masks fell off last year. That's what makes this win probably the greatest in his career. He went through a hell of a lot in the past 12 months to not only come back but to win. His emotional reaction to winning his 10th AO proved it took EVERYTHING out of him to win this slam. Truly a WARRIOR, a man of integrity and immense strength and resilience. The GOAT hands down.

This on top of the negative comments he made about Djokovic throughout 2021, his most successful year to date (calling Djokovic obsessed, saying Weeks at #1 record was irrelevant and then that shady CNN interview) He has always been envious of him, and obsessed with winning (hence the constant injections) but it was hidden until now.
