Lil tip for fraying fabric. Pinking shears. They're zigzag fabric scissors that help prevent fraying :) it's also great if you don't have an overlocker for clean edges ❤
my sewing machine seems to have an overlocking option??? i think?? im really not sure ;; but i do also have pinking shears!! my issue with the towels was that when i put them in the wash, the edges would get all stringy and tangled, even cutting with the pinking shears ;;

If you’re willing to invest a few more bucks into the process, i rly like to make sturdy rags out of old towels by bias-binding them. I have a white cotton roll of bias tape i bought a long time ago that almost exclusively gets used for that purpose, and the seams dont end up as bulky as rolled hems!
YES, I'd love to see a video on all of the games you like! But, in general, make what you like in general. It's so important creators open themselves up to creating all the things they like, algorithm be damned.

Love that you are learning to sew! Another way you can finish the edges of rags, so that you don't need to fold over a hem, is to zig zag stitch them.
