really a bad idea to raise guinea fowl cuz they can fly and they might run away ur house if u scared them too much
Unless you have other types of poultry that stay in one spot.
Hey I’m from the future and just to let you know you should raise them with other poultry like chickens and they will stay with the chickens and not destroy your neighbor’s garden and also hatch your own so they won’t need to get used to stuff as slowly as if you got adults straight away

hello! i have one baby guinea fowl, s/he's about 7 weeks old now, and since they were a couple of weeks old they've made these exact same noises? does this mean they're a girl? :0 they do the same adult (?) noise as the 5 1/2 week old babies in one of your other videos... i can't wait to find out!
If it is making the "Buckwheat" sound it's a girl. She's doing it at 0:54! The other little chirps don't necessarily mean its sex :) Some of those sounds sound exactly like the happy noises my male guinea makes so I don't think you can tell from any of the other whistles.
I have 2 gunieas from a year male and female..but what is there maturation period for egg laying.??
Anyone thinking about getting guineas, needs to think about their neighbors. I lived peacefully for 17 years in my house, before my ignorant neighbor decided he wanted a flock of guineas. Now, every day at 2:30 or 3:00, the screaming starts. Nobody within 1/2 mile can sleep when these nuisance birds start calling. You may be cool with the noise, but your neighbors will likely not see it that way. These birds need to be eradicated

Females make a call that sounds like they're saying "Buck wheat" over and over again, you can hear it some in this video. Our males are a little larger than our females too.
