Nice finds here... I still have never seen a Fleetwood Mac Rumors record at any thrift shop I've gone to and you got the dollar find.. lol.. always my luck! Cheers, Darryl.
That was a nice gift from your wife. Nice Sonny Boy Williamson and Count Basie pickups, especially for a dollar. I would have probably grabbed that Sons of the Pioneers record as well. You made quite a haul with some other great ones as well.
Those records all look clean. The Sonny Boy Williamson is a good find. It is 10:50 PM and I’m watching this with headphones. I was about to look outside to see what was going on. Then you said the neighbor was mowing the lawn.
You did pretty good there Jon. Is the Skynyrd pressing on the MCA / Sounds of the South label? Either orange or green if I remember right. I remember the Screaming Blue M's made a short mark in the eighties. I remember the album "Bikini Red" selling very well. You grabbed some enjoyable listens. Thanks for sharing them J~ Rob/Boston
@@Paneeks1960 - No it’s a later first year rainbow MCA pressing. But for a buck I couldn’t leave it there. It was a good day for sure. Found some keepers. Thanks for watching.
Hi Jonathan - Question: What happened to The Record Fair @ USM (Yearly in November) that WMPG held in the Sullivan Gymnasium before COVID HIT IN 2020?? They seemed to have substituted this Fair twice a year held on the grounds of the radio station! :-(( I've tried reaching the Radio Station Manger to ask this same question, and never get a response......What was good about the Nov./Gym Show was they had out of State Sellers along with tables of donated Records. I know the former Holiday Inn has a Record Show twice a year, is it well attended? Just curious if you might have any information! Looks like you did well at the Fair, enjoy the albums, take care!
There’s been a lot of construction at USM. I’m hoping that they will revive those shows sometime in the future. They’ve been having shows at Fireside Inn, near the old exit 8 on 95. Brian and I may share a table for the November show. Thanks for watching
When it comes to Pablo, never judge a book by its cover. Peterson / Basie is a sweet disc.
Some great finds Jonathan. Too many to comment on all, but that Crosscut Saw is the only Groundhogs album I don’t have. Very jealous. Cheers.
I’m interested in the Groundhogs and Sonny Boy if you are parting ways with them. Glad you got your favorite Fleetwood Mac record! Haha

@@ShamrocknRecords - Hahahaha.
You can have the Sonny Boy. I want to listen to the Groundhogs first

@@vinylrichie007 - Yeah, they do that in the middle of the day. Thanks for watching and it was a good day at the sale. Love that Sonny Boy LP.
@@cheapcheerfulrecordcollect8071 What was funny is that I could hear the mowing in my left ear. I was thinking what is going on out back.
