I called it a year ago but I'm calling it again; DeFroque will either be Papa Emeritus V or will become a Deacon/Cardinal working under whoever else becomes Papa Emeritus V. The freeze frame where he has Papa's signature pale eye is very telling, so too is the character's name itself. Very interested to see how this manifests in the coming weeks
@@cristianotalora6502 DeFroque is a play on the word "defrock", which is to relieve or put an end to a religious figure's service, usually for defying doctrine or committing crimes against others. Bishops, priests, deacons, even popes have been defrocked before.
Jim Defroque having the white eye makes me think he's Copia's twin. I don't think he'll be the next Papa, since he's not played by Tobias and he's clearly against Ghost, but I think he'll be an antagonist for the Ministry.
