    Namaskaram, I am a new learner of Bharathanatyam and I learn online, everything is going good but I am having difficulty in getting up from murmandi position🙁 please suggest me some tips and exercises to overcome it😭😭

    Maam is it possible to start taking classes for classical dance forms after the age of 26 for females ... If the person is not at all a dancer and have never danced in life but wants to dance so so so much 🙂

      It really depends on where you started out, how quickly your body responds to training and your own expectations. But every practice session will get you closer to your goal. 🙏

      As with any posture or movement in dance, gains accrue with consistent practice in time. Don’t expect changes in short time - the body has a memory for improper form that has been ingrained over many years! No one that practices these techniques and exercises on the Inner Circle will be disappointed - my students and I use these very same methods to get to where we are. So, I would stop looking at when the change will happen - it already is! It might just take a while before it consolidates to a point where you notice it.
