Thanks Max....service done Castrol 5W 30 Full Synthetic @ 83,000 K, also Cabin filter and air filter changed.....Next time spark plugs. Etc. will be excellent to have a video how to change the spark plugs in the Ford falcon Ute 2012 Ecolpi. Cheers and Thanks again. Patrick
Thanks for the video lesson. I will do my first service to my FF Ute 2012 Ecolpi. Which engine oil you recommend also how many litres takes. Thanks. Cheers. Patrick
Hey Patrick, Easiest thing to do is look up the oil company through Datateck & they will give you all the details you need. This is Castrol, but most are available with other brands www.datateck.com.au/lube/castr_au/
Poor effort from Ford. Thanks for that. I'll be replacing that junk in my Dad's FG. Luckily all my Mercedes have had them. And two cabin with two active charcoal filters.
Ford only put in a sieve, with holes big enough to drain your spaghetti - totally useless! The after market option is much better. After all, it's meant to filter out pollens and allergens only microns in size, so I don't know what they were trying to keep out of the cabin with their 'cabin filter'! 🤔😉
@@MiracleMAX I still drive on LPG and get good savings, about 60$ per full tank which gets me close to 500km. It's still easy to get on the east coast, had no issues in Melbourne, syd or Canberra. You do need to check with petrol spy which servos have it before you drive too far. In country towns its dead you can't drive to Perth with it anymore either.
1st time listener watcher here.. Well done mate, good informative video. Definitely subscribed.
Thanks Carliin Wall,
Welcome to the channel. Just saw your video. I started out as a Pine Faller back in the day in South OZ

Glad your service went well. Next time I get one in to do the spark plugs, I'll make sure I do a video.
Thanks mate worked a treat 👍
Hey Gonzo,
That's great news - I'm glad I was able to help!
MiracleMAX 😊
Would have been handy to know who sells the aftermarket filters.
Here in Australia, any local spare parts shop usually keeps them in stock.
Well Done buddy.
Thanks 👍
That looks nasty! And I work in a very dusty industrial area! I'm getting one today! Thanks for the video very informative and helpful!
Most of the problem, like most maintenance, is that this poor old filter gets missed & then it accumulates all those nasties that sit in your lungs

How do you now remove the foam cabin filter? What technique you use? Thanks, Mic.
Hey Mic, sorry, I haven't seen a foam cabin filter. What vehicle is that on?
@@MiracleMAX just the filter you installed. Mines got a foam side. Tight fit. Gouge it out?
Yes, they are a tight fit. You need to lever them out. You could carefully use a flat blade screwdriver
The cabin filter still the original as well in my car, the mesh one....replace by RCA 100. Thanks
Ah, the good old mesh filter! That should stop something......maybe a rock or 2, that's about it!
Thank you Max 👏👏👏
You are welcome Kay 😊👍
Thanks Max!!
You are welcome! 😉
Legend mate cheers
Glad you found the video helpful 👍

Not sure why they went down that path, probably money, but great idea to do the aftermarket replacement. 😉
Well I never! Looks like I'm installing a cabin filter.
That's good news! Then you can breathe easy. 😉
@@MiracleMAX Just pulled the original “filter”, discovered a collection of plants and leaves that Joseph Banks himself would have been proud of.
@@MrButtonpresser Well done!
Welcome to Ford's definition of an indoor planter box.....
Wife complained about the smell of my AC so I check to find THERE WAS NO AIR FILTER

No pun intended 🙄😂
Good catch!
I had to filter through many comments to find this one.....
LPG falcons are a bargain at the moment, especially for Victorians with 70c/L prices
Yup, fuel prices are pretty dear, but not as bad as a year or two ago. Do you have LPG? Is it still easy to access?

@@she3esh Sounds like you are all over it! Glad you are able to make some savings 👍😊
No different to being in a house all goes in your lungs anyways
Fair comment Sean,
But that's why house air conditioners have filters fitted as well.
