She is dancing a traditional song from a certain tribe of Congo 🇨🇩. Every tribe has its unique danse and music. It is beautiful to see the diversity of our culture. We are blessed, and the people sitting while she is dancing did nothing wrong. She is there for a special show and I think she is paid for that. The rest will danse after. We are not where it is happening, sometimes people stand by their table and danse.

She danced two of Fally’s songs, which the first song was named after Bakanja; a faithful Christian who was beaten to death by his master for sharing gospel and his faith. I remember watching the documentary. The second song was the dancing song, droit chemin, which is also the album title for both songs. These songs were not traditional songs, just regular Congolese ambience music 😃 🇨🇩

It is, in fact, common for Congolese musicians to base their "modern" songs on traditional songs and rythms. Fally Ipupa's Eloko Oyo, Wenge Musica's Mulolo and Kala Yi Boeing, and Koffi Olomide's intro in Loi are just a few examples of "modern" songs based in part or in whole on traditional rythms and folklore. Bakanja is also not a mix of two songs. It was released just as it is in this video. Droit Chemin does have a similar small section with Bakanja, but they are two separate songs. 🇨🇩
