Awesome Job Kevin. Do you mind sharing your settings/process to get this great nighttime video?

Settings vary depending on the conditions at the time and the equipment used. I was flying a Yuneec H520 with an E90 Camera. The camera has a 1" sensor and is very good in low light. If you used the same settings on a camera with a smaller sensor the image would probably be very noisy. The settings I used for this video were 4K 60fps, ISO1600, Shutter 1/60, White Balance Auto and then Locked, Colour Natural. There was a UV filter (clear) over the lens. You need to fly slow and smooth or you run the risk of motion blur. Flying in the dark requires way more concentration than flying in daylight. I spent 2 evenings before the firework displays, planning and testing different settings in daylight and darkness at the same location as you only get one shot on the day to get it right. There is zero chance of a re-shoot! No adjustments were made to the captured video in post production. The clips were edited together, sound of the fireworks were recorded seperately on an iPhone as the camera does not record sound and if it did all you would hear is prop and motor noise. The firework sounds were then synchronised to match the video in post.

Thank you. The H520 still has some issues and needs more features added, but it is getting there and the low light performance of the E90 is stunning.
