I noticed how Julia is now giving alot of tips on how to design and configure your home, how certain elements of the house are designed around existing pieces like the altar area, or how the tables don’t need to be small in a limited space. I also love how she understands AND explains Architect Miko’s vision for the layout of stuff like the master bathroom for example. What a good take on the BYO series, more insights on interior packaging please! Maybe in future BYO episodes, do a Presello Tip insert on how to position a sofa on a given space or what type of furniture would suit a specific window layout, or when is too much mirror too much. Feel ko your interior design geekiness will shine alot. Good job Julia and the team.
The wood theme is so natural and relaxing. The light stone tiles feel timeless. The furniture collection is amazing. The hidden sliding glass wall to main kitchen is genius. They might want to add some frosting to the sliding glass wall so kids and people i.e. staring at their phones don't smack into the glass by mistake or late at night. Grassy roof looks like a mini golf course.
The architect (Mico) demonstrates exceptional speaking skills. His eloquence and ability to explain concepts in a clear manner are truly commendable. His use of terminology sets a remarkable example for us to follow. His articulate manner of speaking reflects a high level of intelligence, akin to someone educated at a prestigious institution like UP or Harvard.
I love the fact that the architect paid homage to the more traditional designs and materials (wood) that brings out the romanticism era of Philippine past. Lots of wood, lots of character on the furniture pieces. What a fresh getaway from all the “modern” glossy, shiny floored homes that have saturated RUclips and become quite tiring to watch as those homes are starting to all look the same! I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way. I’ll save architect Miko’s contact info for my Venido (Broadfield) house project, which will be turned over in a little over a year. Great job, sir.
Props to Architect Miko. He does Filipino inspired houses calssically well. He is best also in using old materials. With what I have seen with his work, they are never pretentious. Both Him and his wife are down to earth. Sana, one day, I can afford his work.
The house it self is very beautiful and perfectly designed. I would buy it and just a tiny adjustment sa excessive antique’s to the point na parang may multo na. Will change few things depending on the personality or make it a bit modern. This one is 11/10 galing ni architect.
I don’t understand why y’all have an aversion to fried foods and the smells associated with it! Can someone explain why you have to have a ‘dirty’ kitchen and why is it ‘dirty?’ That’s so negative to me-you want a good meal eat from my dirty kitchen😳🤨😫I mean you SEE what I’m saying lol. I DO admit fish fries are smelly but it mellows after awhile. Well anyway. Thanks🙏🏻❤️
Of all the Architects, i love all done by Architect Mico...combination of old and new...and functional..and not just for aesthetic
