Nice seeing the 1911's at work. As much as I love the SAA's, I love 1911's even more - so much so that mine are in my everyday carry rotation. Unfortunately I couldn't do Wild bunch with either of them, as they're a bit more "modern" than what is required by the rules. But now you've got me looking at "G.I" 1911's again...
I like my 1911, a lot. But, I find I am more accurate with my single-actions. And, yes, that is because of the number of rounds I put through them. If I spent as much trigger time on a 1911 as I do on my 1851’s that would change drastically. Also, gripping it (the 1911) with two hands improves the accuracy tremendously.

Why did your 1911 jam??
I have a 1911. Id love to get involved in WB Shooting.
I’m guessing it was an ammo issue. I’ve started to case gauge check all of my match ammo for my .45 Auto and haven’t had any issues since I started doing that.
