- Today I'm going over the Fire Emblem Heroes Iceberg. We're going to take a deep dive into some of the most obscure, forgotten, and controversial topics in the game's history. Something interesting to note could be the official manga alluding the fact that summoner duels do exist and that each unit is aware of their multi-dimensional counterparts being brought in some sort of "Dimensional Duel". Which brings the possibility that we pointlessly make units fight with each other for fun.
about the "Kiran is the horniest person in FEH" it's a reference to the official FEH manga where in one of the chapters Plumeria tries to put him in a lewd dream, but Kiran is extremaly unfazed by it, then Plumeria gets shocked by the possibility of Kiran not being affected because he is already used to these kind of lewd thoughts
Well, Kiran is from the real world after all. I sincerely doubt anything Plumeria could come up with would compare to any of the shit Kiran has seen on the internet.

Kiran is Horny is supported by 2 things: one story in the FEH manga Plumeria attempts to overload kiran with Lewd dreams and fails, with Kiran stating he isnt shocked at all. Second part is EVERY. SINGLE. HERO has a line saying "hey, dont touch me so suddenly" or "hey, keep your hands to yourself"
The women in Fire Emblem are so beautiful though, I would honestly do the same.

Well, the "Every unit is personalized" could be true if we go for the early years of the game where we couldn't know the Boon and Bane of our units and you see people posting about why his friends Lilina have 55 atk while his Lilina only have 52
I don't play heroes tbh, is not like in classic fe where your characters randomly level up certain stats?
@@veto_5762 nop, Heroes have 5 stats (HP, ATK, Spd, Def, Res) when you summon a heroe this can have a + and a - to any of those stats (only one + and one -) or be a neutral one (no + and - on any stat). What it means is that when it reach max level (40) it can have a +3 on the Atk but a -3 on his HP while the enemy can have the same unit with a +3 Spd but -3 on Res (some units have it worse or better since instead of 3 can it be 4).
Going back to my comment, on the initial years of the game this was something that people discovered by posting pictures of their units and comparing it with the rest of the people and then someone datamined the game to get us know about the boon and bane of the game (in the trailer of it they also show us that but it seemed no many people payed attention). Now day that's something easy to guess since units now have their boon and bane stats with a Green and Red color respectively

I went up against an AR-D "team" that consisted of a single level-1, unarmed, unmerged 1-star Wrys. My structures bumped him down to absolutely 0 stats.
I surrounded the old man with my units, then forfeited out of pity. Well-played.

And the meme DISGUSTING with Lucina flags up Ephraim's head is still comical till today. That VG with me on Ephraim Team felt crushed from the first hour to the end still in my mind.
Oh I just realize in the next VG my friend who simping M!Robin so hard she make the alarm clock every half an hour for 6 days straight to vote for Robin. And the result was one zombie girl ranked top 10 on Robin Team. She said WORTH IT.

The iceberg should've include that one gamemode that only existed for like a week. It was the reverse of rival domains, where you had to protect your fortress instead of trying to destroy the enemy's fortress.
I loved the dev maps. I really wish they brought them back.
you're missing a lot of context on most of the early ones. For instance in the second ever voting gauntlet was Camilla, Hinoka, Beruka, Subaki, Cherche, Cordelia, Minerva, and Palla. After the first hour of the first round Camilla had more votes than the other contestants combined, and she absolutely destroyed the competition, which led to the implementation of multipliers.
The sigma male theme with the Reinhardt face kinda got me there. Well done

One thing im shocked that wasent in the iceberg?
The fact that for a bit, a unit had to be at least level 20 in order to be promoted to the next rank.
The other reason for Kiran being the most perverse character is Kiran is constantly touching the heroes without their permission in the heroes quotes, the touching isn't specific so it could be anything from a simple tap on the shoulder while shouting "boo!" to pinching, tickling or groping the heroes, not to mention stuff like plumeria's interactions with kiran in the manga & just in the game. I actually have a fan theory that old hubba from awakening is just the kiran from the book 3 dead askr. He escaped with his life but now all he has is a bunch of card JPGs & lewd art to keep him company, & thus his perverse tendencies only grew stronger...
The only things I can think of are;

I can't really remember it but the event where you would select a hero from a map and Legendary Lyn being the green rep cause people didn't know you could move the screen.

This is a great video!! Quick to the point and wonderfully presented. As someone who’s played FEH/been around in the community since it launched, it was a fun trip down memory lane seeing this stuff
I’ve rewatched this at least 5 times, this video is so interesting. As someone who’s just gotten into FEH about 3 months ago, hearing about the game’s history is so cool. I’d LOVE a second part to this!!
Man this was a great nostalgia trip. I've been playing since launch so all of these I remember. I wish they would bring back the dev maps. They were a nice challenge. They would definitely get cheesed nowadays though.
Every unit in Fire Emblem Heroes are actually all personalized, but its the player who makes them unique instead of the game I guess.
I would also mention the meta-changing hero.... Surtr and F.Edelgard..... Especially when Surtr has a banner of himself + Ylgr.
And there was also a banner featuring Falcion users...... which is 4 red focus...... duhhhh..

Surprised that the summoning cinematics weren't on the list. Camilla, Lyn, Lucina, Marth, Robin, Roy, Takumi, and young Tiki had special cinematics if you summoned them until a certain point (I think around year 3?) where now it's automatically skipped

Anyways, one small tweak I'd make to the list is "Roy is canonically accurate". The criticism of Brave Roy being outclassed applies to every single Roy alt, which makes for gameplay to be completely accurate to FE6 👍
I've only been playing for a year and I have learned SO many things from this video! Thanks for explaining the iceberg for us n00bs. Those of you who braved the pre- QoL improvements are great for enduring some of these.

I’m surprised the relay defense mode wasn’t on the iceberg. It was basically rival domains but you were the one defending the fort. They only did it once or twice because nobody liked it.

Talking about the Voting Gauntlet multiplier and not mentioning the Ephraim's devastating loss against Lucina feels like a crime haha
To expand on the "Disgusting" thing, when Sacred Stones first came out back in the 2000s, there was rumors on Game FAQs, FE fan sites, etc. that the "Lords of the next game have an incestious relationship." The release of the game in the West did not quell this rumor as then it swapped to "The western version was censored, but in the Japanese version their was incest." If I recall the rumor just sort of faded out, but FEH Ephraim's line has to be a reference to that.
4:40 Since the start of 2022 for the new Hero banners the Feh develops just released four new heroes with one of them being the Ascendent Hero which is sad. Because the first two Ascendent Heroes they released a extra hero why they did that in the first place.
So that they don't run out of new heroes so fast. It's starting to get hard to pick out characters that people will actually buy since pretty much all the popular characters are already in the game. We're basically just missing a few Tellius characters, a lot of Jungral characters almost no one cares about, (especially the replacement units) and the last few Three Houses characters that haven't been added yet + all the time skip varients. (Ignatz, bass Lorenz, base Sylvain, base Ingrid, Felix, Leonie, Alois, Gilbert, every time skip character minus Byleth and the lords, etc)
Ephraimdev also gave Ephraim a unique battle stance/animation out of the blue. before he had the default lancer animations

One thing I want to mention is Find and Vote. It was where people did not realize they could move the screen to pick a hero and chose the ones on the starting screen, which were H!Myrrh, L!Azura, L!Lyn, and Duma. Also the free 5 star was a random choice instead of being able to pick yourself.
I wish they will bring the warrior maps and the anniversary pixel maps back. They were soooooooo cool!!!

I'm still traumatized, and yet hardened by the dark days of the first Tempest Trials. I barely had a good team back then, and I busted my ass to barely reach 50k without even a bonus unit (someone told me about using Robin too late).
Trials nowadays are so easy. You only have to play 3 a day and you're set.
The whole fourth wall break thing does make sense if you think about it but maybe it's just another summoner I mean we have a million what's there that knows not of the old mechanics I mean who knows canto amyrite

Funny note about the Jorge point on layer 2: As if the evidence that he was botted in year 3 wasn’t enough, he came in last this year. Hilarious that the botter cared for all of one year and now the character is the objective loser of CYL6.
One day will rig CYL so Alfonse and Sharena win. I refuse to believe characters like Veronica and Gatekeeper were not a product of script bots.
Something I think is worth being on the bottom of the Iceberg is that Eirika and Marth won CYL from returning characters. The developers released a statistic chart showing the majority of people that left FeH returned only to vote for Eirika and Marth, whereas the new Feh players voted for GK and Marienne or whatever her name is.

In their conversation Micaiah is very hesitant on marry Sothe but she says maybe one day. From the POV it's Sothe who wants to be with her. she didn't manipulate him

Imma be honest, I remember the forging bonds conversation between Loki and Aversa that confirmed the lack of humanity in Loki and her "nature" as a God/Entity. The thing here is that I highly doubt she's going to be revealed as a dragon. Both her and Thorr serve the Odin of FEH, Alfador, and I think we'll get a situation similar to going against an actual deity/superior entity like Fomortiis from Sacred Stones. As for the dragon Gods we already have plenty in our barracks, like Nifl/Muspell and the duality of bonds represented by Askr/Embla. It'd be extremely redundant if not downright stale to enclose the 3 most mysterious villains of feh (Without counting Eitri since she has lived for centuries and is even aquainted with Loki herself) in the dragon-God category again. Hopefully they'll think carefully about this and choose accordingly.
