I had to laugh and cry when Jayda Coleman just abandonedly threw her center field glove to wherever. I would love to have that glove, all of the history that it's behind it, all of her stolen home runs, the diving catches, etc. It would be a very coveted piece of memorabilia. People were not thinking about that. Then just the glory and the happiness. But it could possibly grow legs and walk off. Until Mike white solidly grasps that the Sooners win for each other and because they excel At what they do, and they do it for God and they're beloved and deserving coach, and that it is, they're burning desire to be the best that they can be It does not matter a damn, were they play that game. If the game were played on the moon, someone would have to want to win it more than the Sooners or else prepare for the 5 peat or whatever it's called. That team is like a family that loves each other more than most families love the members in their family. The strange thing is that's not even close to an exaggeration. That staff and especially that team has endeared themselves to the State of Oklahoma in a way that I cannot explain and not just in softball. It is phenomenal and then some. I hope they all wright their autobiographies or a history of the team and some of the bumps in the road they had to deal with, and the strength of their commitment and so on. Final thought or thoughts, Whatever it turns out to be, Kelly Maxwell did not deserve to be shunned and ostracized by her former team like she was. I'm very happy she'd got the ring and deservedly so. I will miss all those seniors and what they brought to Oklahoma. Coach Gasso will somehow replace it though, because that seems to be the culture in Norman now and actually has been for a while. Sorry for writing a book, but they're accomplishment will be talked about much longer than our thoughts as fans.
OU Sooner Softball team deserves a lot of respect, including coaches. Seniors are leaving on a high note. I hope OU does something special to recognize this accomplish, and not just a day of celebration but some to memorialize their accomplishment.
Insane, a real mother bear, almost unfathomable, When you consider how many teams tried and failed? And then how many won't ever even get a shot at playing for the championship And there is a lot of parity in college softball now. And I know they worked there everloving butt's off. Congratulations to all of them, staff and all.
I feel so bad for Estelle and Bella Dayton, I absolutely love watching these girls play ball, but I will say it's great to be a Boomer Sooner, I say it's great to be a Boomer Sooner, I say it's great to be able to say it's great...

Mad respect for Texas. Clearly the top 2 teams played in this, and Texas accomplished so much this season. As an OU fan I was surprised we did it.
