- The first progress update video for REX-HD Project showcasing the improved background textures in the PC version of Dino Crisis 2.
REX-HD Project a texture remaster mod for DINO CRISIS 2 PC version which aims to upscale all the textures faithful to the original while bringing out the details for higher resolutions.
Its currently being constantly worked on and planned to release in the upcoming months.

Subscribed! Not sure when I'll get around to playing the PC version as I have the PSX version to play on retroachievements but I thought I'd get it working at least and then thought I'd check out any mods for it and here I am! Looking forward to updates on the project and wish you the best.

Ada re4 theme goes hard...looking amazing, the progress btw. DC2 for me, is top 5 fav of all time. So seeing it get the love it deserves with the use of modern tech, makes me happy. Capcom doesn't care to do it, so ofc, gotta leave it to the fans.

I downloaded and instal but when i past this mod my game errored
You can find the USA version on internet archive. Install the mod on it and it should work fine. Check out my twitter for the progress on the Final version of the mod :)

Hello. Its not work
i got the source file for internet archive and i tried installing it but the setup is in japanese, so i cant install it as i dont know japanese! also is there controller support for this as i did get a different version but theres no controller support for it? any help please?
You can download the PC USA version and copy the Preview pack mod files from my link in description and it will work. I'm only working on the textures and Controller support will be added with DC2 Classic REbirth patch which Gemini is working on. Hope that helps.
Does this support controller and vibration?
For now, It's working great with my new Keyboard control scheme with WASD movement system. For full controller support it will require Dino crisis 2 classic rebirth eventually which if "Gemini" makes it. Still before release I will try something with controllers.

When will u finish it?
It is expected to release this year. All the backgrounds are upscaled already and in process of Revisions/Edits to make them look best in every scene. That means during cutscenes the backgrounds needs a little blur effect to make the characters stand out and during gameplay it blends seamlessly. Be assured. It will be faithful to the original artstyle. If you want you can support the project on Patreon (link in description) where you can track the progress.
