Just spend extra few $$ on better built monitor. Prism is kinda cheap and problematic. Buying it is like buying a lottery ticket. Quality checks need to be done properly but apparently there isn’t, thus the cheap price. Build wise is pretty below average. Honest review after my 2nd prism product here.
HMMM... okay, i think it's a pretty decent monitor for very basic photo editing/ color critical work - like if you're just doing it for leisure, or for youtube/ socials. But, if you're super serious about color work (i.e. you're looking for the most colour accurate monitor in the market for the best possible work or you would have to color calibrate your monitor to ensure most accuracy) - you might want to consider other monitors like the BenQ PD3220U Monitor (geni.us/AzBDo). Hope this helps!
It is more expensive than a Gigabyte M32U, on the 31.5'' front, one of the best reviewed all purpose IPS models available internationally. I wonder how the panels compare, there are next to no real technical reviews out for this (similar to what rtings does).
I just got the pg320 ultra which is the brand new 32” version of this I believe. Absolutely no reviews at all and I can’t seem to get the “clip” style mount to mount properly to the stand
Here you go! Hi Mindy, thanks for the review. I have 2 question. 1. what is the maximum frame rate/resolution combination with 1 DP1.4 cable? Is it 4k 8bit full RGB at 120hz? 2. what is the maximum frame rate/resolution combination with USB-C? Thanks in advance.
Hihi! Glad to meet you here! 1) 4k 120hz 2) I haven't tried USBC paired with DP1.4 cable for the PC. But, the only way to achieve 4K 144hz is using 2 x DP1.4 cables. I've tried using the USBC cable for my Mac, and I believe the highest frame rate was 4K 60hz (but this could be limited to Mac's capabilities)
I just reviewed a 32", 4k, 144hz Quantum Dot monitor from MSI - and it's 🔥!! Check it out: ruclips.net/video/U6xHTpemMDk/видео.html
Yup I remember we crowd solved how to setup this monitor on stream lol another great video Mindy!
YES YOU DID ♥️♥️♥️
I just found your channel Mindy and it's awesome! Nice to see this content! 😁
late reply here! But aww! Thanks! I'm so excited that you're here! ♥️

Hi! Now that the PG270 Ultra has 2HDMI (2.1) and 1 DP (1.4), i would assume any cable would be fine now to achieve 144hz at 4k?
Hello Mindy, the Prism website states that this monitor has 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, did they upgrade the monitor since your video?
Yes they did! :)
@@mintmindy You use what type " Font " for your Thumbnail?
Is this monitor good for xbox series x gaming
Does the mac support 144hz with this monitor?

Hi mindy, would you think this monitor is good for photo editing and any other colour critical work?

Could you share the refresh rate over USB-C on your M1 Mac?
It’s 4K 60Hz
@@mintmindy thank you!
Wat model this gaming monitor?
Hi! This is the PRISM+ PG270 ULTRA Monitor :)
I thought the USB-C won’t work to display a Mac (Thunderbolt).
It did ! It worked for me :)
@@mintmindy Thanks for replying. I look to try it out with my Mac mini M1 when I receive my monitor. 👍🏻😊
Hi there, what do you need to get the 4K 144Hz in Mac OS?
It depends if your Mac supports 144hz and also check that the cable (usbc or HDMI cable) you use to connect to the monitor supports that as well.
@@mintmindy Thank you for your kind reply
This brand is epic
that's a deal breaker , no hdmi 2.1
too bad it doesnt support g-sync. Not nvidia friendly.
Hi please test it with ps5 and make a review
