Another fantastic video. So many great ideas! Love that you're a big reader, that's very cool. But listen, you talk about "hundreds" of designs...by the time I create, take it to Printify, and back to Etsy, that takes a good bit of time. Am I missing a shortcut?
I’ve found that a little bit of work over a long stretch of time is the key to success. Yes, there are people that take off in weeks, but I’ve never uploaded more than 10 designs a day. But, that really adds up over months and years.
Great questions! I have a video on my top selling colors on my channel, but I find that offering a max of around 4 options works best. Color charts are definitely nice, but not always necessary.
I would also like to see that video, but can’t find it. I’d suggest putting links in the description to the videos you mention because especially on mobile we don’t always see them in the video.
Thanks so much, Hannah, for this great video. So many great ideas 🙂But I just found out that Y2K is trademarked for Clothing, Shirts etc. Do you have any ideas how to work around that and still be found for this y2k aestethic???
Great question! As far as I know, the y2k trademark is only "live" for some select items like hair accessories and fragrances. It seems like the shirt trademark is dead currently. Always a good idea to check though because it could be renewed at some point.
@@hannahebeling Hi Hannah, thanks so much for your reply. Ah, but this "y2k" trademark is actually live for clothing, namely shirts and hoodies. But it says: "The name "Y2K" in the mark identifies "ARI STARACE," a living individual whose consent is of record". No idea what that means, but I guess when it's live for clothings then it's just not save to use 🙁 although it stands for a whole style and everyone uses it...?
But if you aren’t having Y2K on the actual shirt and just using it in the title or tag section is that still a problem if it’s trademarked? Because that’s what I do when I have a y2k era style shirt. ?? 🙏🤔
@@AylaRose_LaAkea Amazon will definitely reject any trademarked words or phrases in the title or description - quicker even than if it was only on the shirt.
political used to be a good money maker for me until amazon removed the amazon ads option for political shirts. But I do still want to make some for the upcoming years.
Yes, that was a bummer for sure! But, I still get a good amount of political sales even during non-election time organically. Looking forward to these hopefully ramping up in the coming months/year. Wishing you the best too!
This really depends on a case by case basis. Some people only have a handful of designs up but one becomes a bestseller and they make tons in a single month. However, in most cases, I see that people start making sales once they have around 100 products posted. The more you post, typically the more you will start making.
Thank you so much for these videos. Very helpful.
Glad you like them!

What about for Filipino merch? (Puns, food, Tagalog shirts) Is that a good niche?
That’s a great idea!
And please tell how much colors should I offer per listing and do I provide color chart

i'm mortified at the fact that y2k aesthetic was two decades ago! i'm 31 for context :))
Haha! Crazy people call this vintage!

It's a few videos back called "best new niche 2023."

How much listing it would take to earn money on Etsy

Can you please tell some free resources for Etsy through which I can do trend research
Great question! I have a video on Free ways to find trending niches here in my channel.
i have a question
I enjoy your content but the music in the background is very distracting 😅
LOL...dont give away your niche secrets on a public forum🤪
Does making awful abs totally fake surprise faces really get you more views? Maybe I should try it. Wait, no, I have dignity 😂
Appreciate your feedback. Thanks for checking out the video regardless of the way my face looks.
