From F9: The Fast Saga (2021): Dom Toretto is living the quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, but they know that danger always lurks just over the peaceful horizon. This time, that threat forces Dom to confront the sins of his past to save those he loves most. His crew soon comes together to stop a world-shattering plot by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they've ever encountered -- Dom's forsaken brother.

The casting for Young Dom is spot on. Not just the looks but the mannerisms too.
Don't take much to imitate Mark Sinclair.
I don't think so.
It's Vin Diesel's son.
same for young jakob bro like u can kinda see john cena in his face
@@808SM.the actor who plays young Jakob is also known for Playing Michael Gray in Peaky Blinders.
In the next movie it will be revealed that dom's father is still alive and became a brainwashed assassin controlled by cipher and it's up to dom and jakob to save him
that’ll be badass honestly
That or Linder became a cyborg waiting for revenge
@@Utahtruckguy or mose jakande somehow survived and want revenge against dom
@@Utahtruckguy It already happened with Brixton in Hobbs and Shaw
I hope young Dom's actor gets more roles in the future. He's really good.
said no one ever
How about bring him in the MCU
He doesn't even look like the same race wtf lmao
😂😂😂
Nah man he's just a regular actor.
Funny how Jakob is never mentioned when Dom tells this story to Brian in the first film

I love how his chain keeps disappearing then reappearing for no reason 😂
I came to the comments exactly for that XD
it kept changing positions every shot
Uk when I was 4 and saw the part when dom told Brian the story of why he was banned from the tracks for the first time I couldn’t help but imagine how it all went down and 18 years later now I know
Tru I was wondering the same this how it went down now we finally got our answers
Dom wasn't angry with his brother, he is only trying to protect him while still grieving for their father.
Explain I don't understand the idea But there is logic
I just realized Hobbs was right to accuse Dom in Brazil. I thought beating a man half to death with a socket wrench was a bit of a fluke. F9 made it fact.
Go Back To The Very First One He Tells The Story About It
"And I hit him and kept hitting him, I couldn't lift my arm"
@@NoodleBoy26 “he’s a janitor at a high school, has to take the bus to work every day. And they banned me from the tracks for life.”
He uses a pipe wrench in this scene lol
They should of made it look more brutal then that , its the first thing he became a legend for , avenging his supposed fathers killer
they needed to keep it pg friendly
"It was me that was screaming" hits differently now.
2001: 3/4 inch torque wrench
Fast five: socket wrench
Fast9: pipe wrench
As someone who grew up on the OG movie this really makes the first movie look bad that they can’t follow simple things like this lol
Well..they followed that it was Wrench
Ah.. So this is what Dom said to Brian in his garage back in the first movie, he said "I had a wrench in my hand" or something
That guy struck first so shouldn't he be in jail for assault
Oh yeah, I just now thought of that.
he hit him with a wrench...
@@nneuter still self defense
Yeah, this was dumb. They should have just make it the same as the way he told the story on the 1st one.
@@landonbussieres1125 actually no it wasn’t self defense. If he hit him once and spree then yes, but he kept attacking which is no longer self defense it’s just retailing attacking back. Can’t blame him tho, he just lost his dad , then Kenny Linder said something messed up about it. Yea..
Yeah, he's the other son all right, the one we never heard of before. The son that got introduced to a franchise that went from illegal underground street racing to low-tier James Bond stuff. Not only that, Vin Diesel literally only made this character and casted John Cena because Vin didn't like The Rock and Cena was supposed to be the next Rock in terms of Wrestling and all.
I am glad I stopped after Tokyo Drift, that was the last FF. All the other FF's were just bogus.
I kind of agree, mainly because the series is so inconsistent quality-wise, I'm not at all a fan of Tokyo Drift in the sense of it being a good film (guilty pleasure, my opinion on it constantly changes) but it was the last proper racing film in the whole series.
I think 5 is great fun and a good film, but it's where the transitional period _really_ began and there was no going back after that. The rest are really _really_ hit and miss.
And then you have 9, which was one of the worst films I've ever seen and that's quite a feat given some of the trash I've indulged in over the years. I'm not looking forward to seeing where they take this series, but as they've gone into fucking space, they'll either bring it back down to earth (rather literally in this case) giving us a severe case of tonal whiplash, or they'll have Dom and the gang conquer the galaxy in V8's. I wouldn't be surprised if Darth Vader made a cameo!
The series went from street racing and small crime to saving the world. I loved Tokyo Drift.
You guys need to re watch the first movie. Out of all the movies, that was the most memorable. He does mention him
4 was also still good imo, not to extreme on the action stuff but after that it went down hill fast
From underground racing to super heroes lmao they just killed this movie after 2
This is so accurate where Dom told Brian about this scene just minus Jakob and Buddy
Well, at that time he was that angry at Jakob that he decided to forget about him apperantely, like he never existed, as he was not part of Family as Dom thought Jakob killed their father
Lol that Wrench was sounding off in the background when the Camera was on Jakob😂😂😂😂
Dom the legend
People Are Crying Saying The Young Dom Does Not Look Like Vin Diesel. Yes He Does, The young Dom Looks Like Young Vin Diesel From 30 Plus Years Ago, Which Is What Young Dom Is Supposed To Look Like.
Subjective
He looks Mexican
At 3:17 I always laugh at the scene transition of nose 👃 to bigger nose 👃
Considering he came to the boys to likely start a fight, the other guy pushes and punch him first, the older brother probably could have gotten a way with that 1 swing of the wrench, as long as he stopped after that (holding it for obvious protection confronting a bigger man).
Dom is legend
nah bro’s a superhuman
Well it's nothing against John Cena but I don't think that he played that part very well I think they could have found someone better
Nah . He's a family man
So this is what hobbs was talking about in fast five
Yeah, Dom even talks about it in the first movie when he shared it with Brian
2:38 That's what happens when you mess with Quiet Peaple
its wild to me how much he looks like dom in the first movie. back then he was rockin that buzzcut. he was much thinner too.
So he’s got a criminal record for being a man have to deal with a socket wrench

Doesn't make sense because in FnF 1, Dom said his dad died in the stock pro circuit not fucking nascar
NASCAR = National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing. So his dad is a NASCAR driver
@@kevin_brok stock pro circuit isn’t nascar

That answer a lot of questions I have been wondering about don,s past
These flashback scenes where the only good parts of this mess of a film should of just done a prequel
Somethings wrong with this scene, on the p as police report it says Dominic used a socket wrench, and in this scene he's using a pipe wrench
My dude, continuity just flew out of the window worse than that. I wouldn't even expect they do that one right.
3/4 if I'm remembering correctly.
The first movie says 3/4 torque wrench
Great movie
So this is what the rock was talking about when they were trying to arrest him in Brazil
Did anyone else think that the most badass character in this scene, was Dom's younger brother Jakob?
When I like the barbecue foods in Fast and Furious
The flashback scenes were the only good scenes in Fast & Furious 9, but adding Jakob into the story kinda ruins the basis of Dom’s backstory and he wasn’t mentioned in any of the previous films.
Anyway F&F7 was the real ending to the franchise. 8, 9, 10 and Hobbs & Shaw are just non-canon cash grabbing junk.
Takes away from the first movie when dom explained that he just hit him out of anger and that it was his own mistake
Not really. He did hit him out of anger, but he probably never told Brian the whole story seeing they had just met and he was just starting to trust him. It's hard to tell the whole truth sometimes to people we've known forever let alone to people we barely know.
Absolutely and they use a pipe wrench not torque wrench
Did they already make this movie?
What happend at the end of the clip. Can't see anyone.
funny thing the snap on the classic emblem didn't come out tell 2010
I think it would be cool to see a movie or a series about Dom's dad backstory.
Chick Hicks the Fast & Furious version
I’m pretty sure we’re gonna get some prequel movies
0:45 fairly certain that guy is Michael Rooker.
Yeah he'll be in the next one if I'm not wrong
Yeah, its him, its becomes more clear when old Dom gets to him to ask where is Jakob
I did a little scene, in a film with Vinnie Bennett who portrayed the young Dominic Torretto, I was told by cast mates when he got fired? The assistant director said he will never make it anywhere well 8 years later he made it to Fast and Furious movie.
The Toretto Brothers
I know somebody noticed Lil Dom's tucked/untucked chain, right?
If Fast 10 doesn't have dinosaurs then we've been cheated.
You've been cheated
are u crazy?
That’s my car! That’s my car!
no one was in the burning car right?
Remember when Dom told this story to Brian in the very first movie? It only took 20 years to see it unfold before our eyes.
Why am I just discovering this?!?!?
Didn’t he say he was a kid kid back in the original story ??
Thomas Shelby should never bring him into the car parts business.
It's My dad!!!😢😢
He was charged as an adult dom
Back in the 80s
Wait… is that…is that Judd from 911 lone star?!?!?!?
So the socket wrench story is true, we got to see him actually do the crime.
When he was a teenager
A good guide on how to grow out of your brother John Cena.
LoL. Young Dom is taller than Vİn Diesel. I guess he became shorter while he grows
Lol he doesn't even look like Vin Diesel.
Idk is it just me or not but this doesn’t add up wit tha FF1 story when Dom tells Brian tha story when they in tha garbage
I like how they managed to find an actor who looks nothing like vin diesel at all. Looks older than Vin did in the first film. Also a different colour entirely.
And different height lol.
but the acting is spot on
I don’t think that’s what he said to the police.
he should have had a full head of hair just fall out
And then that kid grew up to be John Cena
Wait till Tommy Shelby finds out.

Why did Paul Ryan cross the road?
Cause he forget his seat belt.
So 9 movies ago, no one mentioned this guy's dad was a race car driver?
He literally said in the first movie to Brian that his dad was moving up the ranks of stock car racing. Pay attention.
That ain’t no 3/4 torque wrench

In real life, John Cena is a lot taller than vin diesel. So theoretically is it possible for a younger brother that they can grew much taller compared to their siblings?

Dom ain’t that tall haha.
It was better when dom told the story in the first movie, it seems corny when they actually show it
You absolutely cannot beat the plot armor and conveniences in this movie. Characters appear out of thin air, points are added to story that have been set in stone for the past 8 movies…blah, F&F films are everything wrong with blockbuster cinema now.
They ressucitated more characters than Lord of the rings did as well

@@ComedyBros5 makes total sense. I think the most rational part of the fast and furious was when they went to outer space in a rocket car to blow up satellite or when they were in a plane and the runway was 300 km long.
If you take FF serious then that's your mistake. FF has never been an osacr worthy franchise. They're just like any other fun cheesy action movies where you turn your brain off and go with the flow
I just came here for the hate comments
