The first thought I had with the Wright selection is what if they don't want Hill running that pre snap jet motion. If we are going to run a lot of 2WR 2TE 2RB then you need 3 so you don't wear them down. Achane and Mostert are good pass catchers. So that jet sweep pre snap player could be a hybrid slot/RB

At first I didn’t like our draft but after taking a deeper look at each player, I feel that we had actually had a good draft. We got better and deeper at premium positions( T, Edge, Wr) and added a guy who has the potential to be RB 1 by yr2 . I watched Colorado vs Colorado St play and I remember Mo dominating in that game. He is a DAWG. I also really LOVE Chop speed of the edge, you can’t coach that. He has the traits to become an elite pass rusher. I watched UVA play a couple times as well, I think Malik will have replaced berrios as WR3 by season end. All in all got better depth and high potential guys in this draft. I give it a B+ with potential to become a A.

Very true! I’ve been saying the same! I’m a big Achane fan but I also believe bc of size he will never be a true #1. Wright has the size and speed and pass protecting ability. Only thing that worries me is his indecisiveness
When running inside but he’s gonna get lots of practice reps bc mostert barely practices so he’ll have plenty of opportunities to improve year 1 even if he’s not seeing the field that much

It is funny that if Paupart doesn’t know the player, he thinks automatically he is not good. He should spend more time analyzing players than just following what others say. I have seen him play several times and I think is a great addition for the team. I don’t claim to be a draftnik but if I have not seen a player, I don’t say he is no good.
We had no healthy running backs at the end of the year, this solves that problem. Of course, we don’t know if we are having the same issue this year, but you have to be proactive and not have to get whoever is available at the end of the year. Most of the time those player are not in a team for a reason.

I personally like the RB because he has good size, breakaway speed, and can pass protect. In our run blocking scheme he can get downhill in a hurry and bust a long run. Plus he broke lots of tackles in college playing in the SEC. He’s a good pick on his own merit, but when you also consider that our RB room cannot stay healthy, it makes it an even better pick.

The Dolphins are great at deep passes, 15 yd in routes, and bubble screens. They struggle in that 1-10 yd area. The rest of the draft is good depth. Washington #1 and RB should contribute throughout season.
Both edges will get early playing time due to the injures at that position.
Was really negative about this draft but it’s not my job on the line so what do I know?

Also, we had RB injuries last year and keeping these guys fresh is a good idea. RB had great value right there before the run on them. OL had already been depleted. A lot better odds Wright makes a bigger impact then some 4th round lineman. He was on most people’s list as 2nd best RB in the class in the 4th round! AP too negative sometimes.

Chris Grier spent the third day catching falling second day talent, who should be able to contribute immediately.
Wright is Mostert's heir apparent, this year if age catches up with him.
The Washington Brothers (Malik and Tahj) are two speedy YAC guys, who can also perform return duties. OBJ likely missed his slot and Barrios may also be in trouble.
With the addition of Robinson and Kamara, MIA apparently has no intention of going into the playoffs without edge rushers again and likely plan to be very conservative with the returns of Phillips and Chubb. When everyone is healthy, Weaver should have a ferocious edge rotation.
No one apart from the MIA scouts (who Grier says pounded the table for him) knows who the hell Cal SS McMorris is. Even though they brought in a couple more UDFA safeties as well, I would not be surprised if Grier signs veteran free agent safety to round out the strong nickel formations with Holland and Poyer.
