But wait, there's more ! He's not a specialized hooker.....but has to act as back up because of Marx's injury. And he actually does it well ! Ôo
But wait, there's more ! Mbonambi leaves the field after 2 minutes. In a RWC FINAL !!! And who steps in, and actually plays for 78 minutes, in a position where a few weeks ago he was only considered as backup, and actually performs brilliantly ? Deon bloody Fourie....!
And he goes and wins the RWC ! xD

He is so underrated. He is brilliant for the Stormers and Western province, and always has a big impact for the Bokke. I’d argue he has been a very vital player this World Cup, being both the back up hooker and an impact loose forward. He was brilliant in every knock out game, sure his line outs could have been better in the final but that is an area where every team struggles against the All Blacks (look at Ireland who had two specialist hookers but still didn’t get their line outs right).
At the beginning of the World Cup, he probably thought there is NO chance he’d play almost the whole World Cup final and almost half the game every knockout match. But here he is. What extraordinary fairytales rugby writes.
Ox said it..." we were properly led" Don't have to say anything more, that's it right there. Culture won SA this WC and it starts with constructive leadership.
Imagine what could happen if government took that lesson.

The route that the Bokke had to go through to get to the final was possibly the hardest ever in the history of the competition so they did incredibly well all things considered.

Well done SA! AB fan so of course i'm dissapointed in the result but that's rugby. I personally believed prior to this game that if the back 3 or at least 2 of them fired we would have this game. Sadly 2 of them failed miserably and 1 of them being captain and red carded placed a backward shift in the plan and passed the mantle onto Savea. So kudos to the AB's for almost pulling of a miracle given the circumstances To the incoming AB coach please get a tackling coach in there so these knuckleheads can learn to do it without costing the team...
