Proof that my warbird replica wood spitfire does fly. sadly a soon as I lowered the gear the battery bombed and I just had to get down asap shes all good though.
Dean Washbrook hi dean No I just removed the heavy prop nut I made and added lead in the cowl to balance. The prop nut was absorbing so much power just to get it to spin up
the build thread on rcg has all my mistakes :-) so try to avoid those and you won't be far wrong. the one thing I'd like to do again is cutting and fitting the plastic cowl. luckly now I've put some paint on it. it hides the poor fit quite well.
At least shes still air worthy and that's the main thing mate,thanks for sharing this one and i can't wait to see your colour scheme for her. Oh great flying too = thumbs up.
