It’s taken for ever to get airborne. And even as it is here I hadn’t got the flaps working So as you can see it floated for ever on landing

Proof that my warbird replica wood spitfire does fly. sadly a soon as I lowered the gear the battery bombed and I just had to get down asap shes all good though.

Oh dear !!! Display spiolt by intrusive music. I want to listen to that Merlin engine, to me that is music enough. The roar of a Merlin or a Griffen engine V12 on full song.
Oh yes!!! .. awesome mate .. love the old LC .. (do have the one piece two colour LC leathers to go with? .. I had a 79 coffin tank Rd400 (ac) I can smell that 2stroke haze from here ... ting.ting.ting.ting.ting.ting. bwaa..aaaahhh.bwaaa..aaaaahhh

Dean Washbrook hi dean No I just removed the heavy prop nut I made and added lead in the cowl to balance. The prop nut was absorbing so much power just to get it to spin up

the build thread on rcg has all my mistakes :-) so try to avoid those and you won't be far wrong. the one thing I'd like to do again is cutting and fitting the plastic cowl. luckly now I've put some paint on it. it hides the poor fit quite well.

What size prop you using? i flew mine for first time recently (had the plane since release) and broke the prop, it does like to nose over on landing and the 5th landing was the charm...😦 are you belly landing yours? looks like rough ground where you flying..
I thought it was when I saw the oasthouses. I used to ride in Kent a lot, my favorite spot was Johnson's cafe on Death hill. Did you see any of my road rocket vids?

Yes that was Leeds castle but I flew from Headcorn

Nice! i think i bought the last new mosquito in the UK few weeks ago... flies great, and is very easy to hand launch, but is hard to balance. how did you balance yours?

Nice one Mark,so how do you find the two bladed prop? i'm sure you meant to put in the video notes the sound coming from your TX (transmitter) not RX (receiver),unless i got it wrong and the FR-Sky RX now has a sound module. ;-) I missed out on getting one because i was to late and they never had enough in stock lol,still i'll get one before the summer. Happy New Year to you and yours mate. ;-)

looks even better in flight than on the picture :), nice video man, if i may ask, what kind of cam you are using, the zoom or angle of the picture looks way better then the that of my old gopro2
