Boiler Preheat on or off?

This video will show and explain all about Preheat.
All manufacturers make several models, one 24KW basic or mid range, a 30KW basic, mid range and top of the range with ECO settings.
The installer with the homeowner must choose which is best for them, heatloss, occupants, lifestyle and location all but be discussed and agreed.
Boilers with Preheat, Frost Protection and a manual by pass will always be a better option last longer with less breakdowns and cost less to run provided they are checked by a Gas Safe Registered engineer every 12 months as part of the guarantee (often not done).

that's vaillant off my list then.
my ideal has a preheat button which you press once and it puts preheat mode on - none of this press triangle square and x, hold left joystick down, count to ten, turn round and touch your toes nonsense.
