Awesome video Grace! 👏 Natrual Vlogger! Even more enjoyable to watch knowing you used to really struggle talking on video and recording your voice, etc. You do so much for your fans! Want to see more of these 😌
Beautiful studio, beautiful art, beautiful dog, beautiful you, what more's there to ask for? Nothing! One thing actually, what touch screen tablet/monitor is that you have please? ❤
This was so nice to see! I need to ask, since it's my field, do you have a mouth guard to wear at night? I would be lost without mine. You should have one with 4-6mm elevation in front (thickness), which is where the jaw relaxes the most. Continue with the massage of the face muscles, remember the angula area and the temporal area. Keep your videos coming, they are pro material! ❤
Thank you so much, Jannicke! This is so helpful, I've always thought that they wouldn't work for me as it's the jaw clenching I tend to do more so than grinding, but that thickness sounds like it would really help. I tried botox in those muscles and that was great help for a few months but it's faded sadly and I haven't kept it up. Will definitely look into the thicker guards ❤
@@gracemurrayart Clenching is my problem too. It does help, because if I don't use the guard for a few nights, it gets really bad, both headache and aching jaws. I know botox works, yes, but it is expensive and lasts only for a few months, as you say. There are also a few jaw exercises that you can do in addition to your massage, like opening and closing your mouth with resistance, I'm sure your dentist can show you this (or I can send you an inbox video showing you, it's very easy)
How many commissions have you spoiled towards the end of the work? Knowing when you’re done is an art in itself. I’m onto yours ‘eyes’ video now before I connect nose and eyes, I need to put in a few weeks worth of practice before that though. The long fur one is definitely my biggest headache because it looks rubbish so I stop! Thanks for your help. I’ll get there. 👍
When you're doing commissions rather than practice it kind of forces you to continue even if you think things aren't going right and make them right! There have been a fair few times where I get that 'feeling" early on in a commission and I start again. I've never regretted starting again. But I can usually tell really early on! I'm glad you're finding the videos helpful Tom - great to have you here! 🤗 long hair can be super hard I agree. All about just getting in those drawing reps 🙏
Loving your studio space. Natural light so important!
The set up and life you have is awesome. I wish you all the best luck in the world 🙏🏻
