Stunning. Really there aren’t words. The person who commissioned this must have reared up when they saw it. Thank you for sharing.

very helpful , each triangle shape negatively defines two clumps of hair , must keep that in mind ! Beautiful work

Just what I’m waiting for. We recently lost our Mini Schnauzer and I would really like to do some kind of picture of him. I have no really clear pictures of him, mainly videos, but he had a mixture of long and short hair/fur.
    Thank you. ❤️

He’s a Newfoundland. I had one, he lived until he was 14 and a half, I miss him dearly 😢

Kyomi I bet he was yummy scrummy. Did you have him from a puppy because he must have been like a living teddy bear ? 🥰

@@freddiebiscuit9703 Yes, he was just 8 weeks old when we got him, a real little bear. We would have another Newfie but I have terminal cancer so it’s not an option unfortunately.

I like pencil shine as well so we can be unpopular together. I love using light and dark and you can never have too much texture as that is what, for me, brings a portrait/picture to life otherwise it's flat😁

So true! That's why originals are sought after over prints, all that lovely texture :)

Just a note on GellyRoll pens/ink. First off they are not lightfast (archival). Over time the white gel ink will yellow and become brittle. Second, once you have your artwork done always store and ship flat. Do not roll your artwork, the ink will crack and flake off. This can still happen even if you use a fixative. If you use GellyRoll pens, use a UV final spray. It will help slow the yellowing and brittleness, but you should still store/ship flat. To be fair to a customer you should share this information too so they don’t mishandle the artwork.

@@larastrazdas7227 good info, thanks! I tend to use the oil based white pens now which are light fast. Saying that though, I have drawings I did around 10 years ago using the gelly roll and haven't noticed any yellowing. I use UV protect glass for framing, though, so maybe that's why.
