Fishing Deep Creek in the Great Smoky Mountains

During a weekend trip to the North Carolina side of the Smoky Mountains we go trout fishing in Deep Creek. This was the first time I have ever been fishing in a national park. We hiked up the trail about a mile or so where Indian Creek joins Deep Creek. We found a nice little hole that had several trout in it, including one big Brown Trout. I never caught the big one, but I was very happy with the one I was able to catch!
