In my humble opinion, Kishane won a gold medal in the 100 meters. The Jamaican Athletics Federation should have contested the decision of the IOC. The gold should have been shared between Kishane and Noah. Even the clock said they had the same time, so what is the problem. A plethora of athletes have shared gold medals in the past. The method the IOC used is not used to determine finals. Period.

😅No one has forgotten Kishane, people still see him as a Champion. He is the hottest name in T&F right now.
Maybe too much people were talking about him BEFORE the race - put too much pressure on him.
🥸On the day Commentators saw him as the winner, but they have also referred to 2nd/ silver medalists as losers.
It seems as you have forgotten that the women swept at Tokyo. The drought was with the men. And Shericka did some winnings after that.
😊Every nation goes through a dismal period but most nation rise again.
In the 90s Britain took back only 1 medal from the world championships - gold in Javelin…
    Fatima Whitbread.
But they have improved much since.

My observation, I do believe Kishane pushed Noah. I still don't believe Noah won but that's for God to handle. Also, Jamaicans fans only seem to like the high they get from these athletes wins. They don't really understand their blessings. Not all blessings come in the same form. Once these athletes don't deliver so they can gloat, they are no longer interested. They are spitting on their own blessings.

I am from America and I knew if anyone was going to beat Noah it was going to be Thompson. I thought for sure it would be Lyles,Thompson, and Bednarek before they ran if not Thompson, Liles, and Bednarek. I never doubted the talents of Thompson he looked like a formidable opponent for Noah. And he proved himself to be. To me he made Noah really run to get his gold. HE is the reason Noah got the gold. Thompson was to much on his heels and fear gave Noah that extra push across the line.

I think the problem is the dwindling support or lack thereof from Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) and the Jamaica Olympic Association. We saw athletes such as Thomas-Dodd criticized them after she was edged out of the finals. The track and field athletes have to get back to the basics and do it for the love of the sport and not for the lucrative endorsements/contracts that comes with the sport. Usain Bolt used to train until he vomits. They got to get back to training hard. The fans especially on Twitter needs to stop tearing down other country's athletes and casting this negative aura around the Jamaican athletes. You can support your country without wishing for someone else to lose or celebrating their lost even if your country did not win. Quite a toxic behavior. More importantly, time to recognize that Bolt is a once in a lifetime athlete and not every track and field star will magically bear with the "bolt gene". Time to refocus and trained hard for LA2028.

Kishane’s race strategy failed him in the Olympics. He has not run an all out full race all season. He gets the front and shut it down every time once he cleared the field. In the Olympic final, he had challengers the whole way, and, with his inexperience, he didn’t finish well. I doubt he’ll make that mistake again. He’ll be fine.

Kishane lost the race even without the playback. I saw he lost the race with my eyes. I wondering why they needed a playback. You could clearly see without playback that lyles got to the line first. Kishane head was behind the line and his chest was 2 steps back. He would have had to make 2 steps to get his chest across. Paris just wanted dramatics. Definitely did not need the replay.

Kishane was beaten fair and square. He did not get to the line first. Chest or not. Lyles got there first. It is on TV. You can clearly see who got to the line first. It was Lyles. Kishane had too much weight on him and the smaller Lyles got to the line first. The frozen picture even shows it.
