I have to agree that the "Antares" looks pretty wicked! I am using the ship in a Star Trek fan novel I am writing, shark teeth and all. I also want to say that your animations are top notch, Rifleman. If you don't do this type of CGI work for a living, you should consider it.
That was just beautiful, but the music was a bit strange in certain parts. It sounded almost like there was screaming in the background. Oh well, might be on my end, but whatever. Still, a great job!
All of these opening scenes are the same. You have a slow panoramic view of the ship(s) with heightened musical score and then the action starts. A little tiring. It would be better if you open up with a synopsis of the story and then get right to the action. Just a suggestion.
Okay, the "Assimilate this!" on the Antares was awesome!!!!
I love how the Defiant looks like a P-40 and the "assimilate this" on the bow.
