This video is really something as it is a recreation of the Battle of the Mutara Nebula with the same movements of both ships and how they're firing on each other only in place of the Reliant they have a Romulan Warbird but the ship explodes the same way the Reliant did and the T.O.S. Enterprise escaped by going to warp the same way as the refit Enterprise did.
Even though I found this nebula battle to be similar to the nebula battle between the USS Enterprise A and the Khan controlled USS Reliant in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, I found this video to a masterpiece of awesomeness! Great job!!!
Well the nebulae battle and the Reliant herself were obviously intended to be similar to the Romulan battle in and around the comet. This would have been nice in Balance if they could have done it in 1966. What they did in 1966 was amazing compared to other TV shows before 68. Query in this, Wrath and TOS. Does it make sense to go into battle with navigation lights blinking, spotlights on the hull, highly lit windows, lit up deflector dishes. Seems like Scotty and the Romulans would figure out how to blackout the windows and cover up the cool lighting on the nacelles tip bussard collectors. At least both captains would call for dark running. They're often light years from a sun, so the only thing lighting them up in fiction is their own gadgetry...of course there are the studio lights which are commonly found in interstellar space
@@MrRmcconnell I remember in an interview, Lennard Nemoy described Star Trek as a show that almost shouldn't have happened, the enormous behind the scenes struggles to build the sets with shoestring budgets, the visual effects taking so long they risked missing airdates, paying guest stars, everything. As often as I think "man TOS is so cheesy" I have to stop myself and remember my student films when I was in film school and imagine doing all of it without modern computers. It'd be bloody impossibe.
Star Trek The Wrath of Terror, Star Trek Balance of Khan, Star Trek Wrath of Balance, Star Trek Khan Terror, Star Trek Terror Wrath . . . . Great Job Robzilla, very entertaining ! ! ! !
🖖😎👍Very cool and very nicely greatly well done indeed in every detail way shape and format provided on combining the wrath of Khan and Balance of Terror together into one cool little short film indeed👌.
Question; wouldn't an energy explosion like the ones in this video cause a cascade fusion reaction in the nebula"s gases which would incinerate both ships before either could warp out? As the Klingons would say. Only an idiot would fight in a burning house.
Hey, I have some designs that I would so love you to look at for this kind of animation. I 3D model in Blender/ and Make characters on CC3/Z Brush/ Marvelous Designer. Anyway Love your level of ship modeling, and animation combination. I'm pretty good at modeling, but having a hell of a time with texturing despite having 3D coat, and Substance Painter. Let me know if you would be interested in looking at any of my Star Trek ship designs.

Wasn’t Enterprise A
The Classic Star Trek Music Really Adds The Nostalgic Feel To This Vid!! Excellent 👌 Video As Always!! Live Long & Prosper.
explosion was nicely detailed. love the overhead shot of Enterprise too
It's very appealing to see the TOS Conny with inner blue nacelle tubes. Like a detail that should've been there but wasn't.
Jefferies intended them to be there, just no budget.

Star Trek The Wrath of Terror, Star Trek Balance of Khan, Star Trek Wrath of Balance, Star Trek Khan Terror, Star Trek Terror Wrath . . . .
Great Job Robzilla, very entertaining ! ! ! !
While the series concentrated on the crew and inside of the ship, now it's on the outside so awesome, thank you

Lovely homage to The Wrath of Khan.
👍
Outstanding as always. And, I hereby declare the green AMT domes as official canon.
Well done, Rob, I like your work very much!👍💞LL&P
Just for what it's worth, Hamster doesn't have a 'p' in it.
Enterprise vs. R'liant! "We could have been friends."

I see how you WOK that battle. Awesome
Great video all that's missing from the nebula battle is the uss reliant
This all seems so...familiar. :-) Outstanding work!
I don't know anything about animation but it looks pretty darn good to me.
Nicely done. Very entertaining. I enjoyed that. Thank you.
I'm hearing Mark Lenard quoting "Moby Dick".
I really liked this. Thank you. 🙂
2:10 wouldn't silent running include Darken Ship aka no running lights?
Just like in the Wrath of Khan. Gread video
Very nice! Impressive!
That was excellent reminds me of balance of Terror and The Wrath of Khan please make it to our movie out of this!
I'm no expert so I can't comment on the long way to go, but I'll say that this looks awesome!
Very cool.
Could you show the launch of NX01 Enterprise from space dock
Very good, thanks.
That looks vaugley familiar....,..
But I loved it?
Great job 👍.
Nichelle Nichols was a singer and a Dancer!😁🖖🏻
That how he learned to fight battles in more than one dimension :)😂😁👍🏾😜😉🤓
ElecTrek-fying! 🖖🚀
Hey there Robb, long time no see.
Balance of Terror battle scene.
With a hint of "Wrath of Khan"
@@knytrydr73 I'm watching the video again and I see what you mean.
The battle should be renamed Balance of Terror Khan.

good adaptation.
Ok, whose idea was it to use the Mutara Nebula scene from The Wrath Of Khan for a Romulan engagement?????
The next video will be the Enterprise and the Klingon D7.
🎄👍👍👍 Moritz Tanne
Inspired by a Battle Sequence from “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan” Created by Industrial Light & Magic.
Why do i get the feeling this is the Mirror Universe???
Very Cool!
Was that final explosion from The Wrath of Khan?
Yep. My computer just isn't good enough to get quality explosions.
@@MrRmcconnell - I thought I recognized it. Good use of it. Do whatever works. Loved the animation! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
My god, man! Do you know what a singularity does to a nebula?!
Wonderful video-are you suggesting that TWOK was a reworking of Balance of Terror?
Lindo muito bom 👍👍👍
More please
🤩👍👍👍

This is pretty cool. But constitution class starships have aft phasers and photon torpedoes so why not use them??
Not "proceeding," but "preceding" and not "hampster," but "hamster."
Jolan tru!
