    I just got my '06 Crossfire Limited and it's worth every penny I've spent on it so far. Anyone who thinks this thing is "shitty" is just a hater. Everywhere I got people are turning their heads and that definitely makes you feel pretty damn confident. Anyone with a decent paying job can afford this car and it will not break the bank. They are pretty damn rare and you probably won't run into many other ones on the road. The engine is going to last for at least 200k if maintained correctly. German quality for American pennies. Funny all the people hating on this car have never drove this car and are probably riding the bus everyday. Get real

    I think what I like most about the Crossfire is that even though it was introduced in 2004, it's exterior styling still looks remarkably modern to me. Almost a timeless design with flowing contours and sharp bodylines all in one car.

    I have two - a 2005 Limited coupe for me and a 2005 convertible for the wife. I've been in the car biz for 20 years and this is one of the most underrated cars you can get. Super fun to drive, and very dependable. They definitely get looks while driving around town. If you don't like the looks? It's you personal choice.

    I'm not a chrysler fan in fact i would associate the company with the label of tacky, but this marriage between Merc and chrysler brought the german mundane style out of the doldrums and so i view this vehicle as a certain classic vehicle.

    It is fitting to feature the Crossfire after the Bugatti since both are unique and in low numbers. I have owned an 04 for 3 years now, customized it using Mercedes components like the SLK32 and SLK55 AMG. Like every unique cars, you either love it or you hate it. If you get a chance to drive one, you most likely will fall in love. The Crossie is a big hit with the ladies BTW!

    • @mjoe7561
      @mjoe7561 3 года назад

      Haha you've made it even more tempting to get one. Can I ask a few questions:
      What Mercedes components did you customize it with?
      What's it like to drive? Around corners?
      Do you still have it?

      @IKhanNot 10 лет назад +2

      When people have legit opinions the dumbasses like yourself seem to make the TG reference all too often. I never saws Jeremy Clarkson's review of this car and I didn't need to in order to know that it's not up to par. The only thing this car has going for it is the MB powertrain and handling but it's still lacking.

    • @dangus69420

      Okay djonkie, what exactly is your issue with the car?

    • @IKhanNot
      @IKhanNot 10 лет назад

      william9545 The styling and the fact that Chrysler kept cranking out shit. Only lately have they been serious and too bad a near bankruptcy had to teach them a lesson, if it were up to me I would have never bailed them out and let that company fall.

    • @dangus69420
      @dangus69420 10 лет назад

      they paid back what they owed in like 3 years, and their new cars are much better than anything they've ever made. I agree their quality used to be lower but post bailout it's been great.
      Anyway the styling is subjective and all the mechanical components from the car were from the last gen SLK, do you think that car is shit? Because it's just an SLK with a chrysler badge.

    • @IKhanNot
      @IKhanNot 10 лет назад

      william9545 The SLK at that time wasn't all that. It was fun to drive but the quality lacked as it did in many other Benzes of that era. That's no longer an issue but last time I remember MB didn't need taxpayer's money to return to form. MB also didn't act as arrogant as the executives at Chrysler did.

      Don't listen to the haters... All that matters is what you think of the car. I owned a 2006 Crossfire Limited Coupe 6 speed for over five years, and put almost 100,000 trouble free miles on that car, and I absolutely loved it! Best handling and stopping car I've ever owned! It was pretty quick too. I was able to run a best of 14.62 @ 97.40 with it through the 1/4 mile, which beat the magazines time when it had about 30k miles on it. I still have the time slip. It's no race car obviously, but for the money, especially now, you get one hell of a fun car with a 6 speed manual and rwd :) The only mod I did to mine was add a Crossfire SRT-6 factory spoiler and shut off the power factory spoiler. It looked so much better with the SRT-6 spoiler on it in my opinion. I hope you buy one man. Best of luck if you do.

      TheSpritz0 It's ugly. You have to be blind and stupid to say that it is "sexy"
      No offence ***** if you like it. It's my own opinion.

      For one guy this car is sexy and for another it is not. It is a matter of taste.

      Just like our taste in women, some guys love certain chicks, for others they seem like diggity dogs!

    I love looking at this car and noticing all the interior components are identical to the ones on my 2001 ML430 hahah

    Though this won’t live up to the legacy that the Prowler has, I do find these unique and quite good looking even in the hardtop form. If I had to pick between an SRT-6 Crossfire and a Prowler, I’d really have a hard time picking. At least with this you don’t have to tow your trunk behind you.

    Hey Kyle, love the videos. Could you possibly do the 2013-14 Range Rover Vouge?

  • @KyleFN
    @KyleFN 10 лет назад

    Cool video, but two points of clarification for you ... #1: I believe that interior color was called Brick, not Canyon. And #2: The first product to come out of the Diamler/Chrysler merger was the 2002 Dodge Ram I have sitting in my driveway ;)
    Cool video though!

    Found one for 3,000 on facebook. Buyer doesn't list anything besides saying it runs great but is missing a few interior panels. Worth checking out?

      I would choose the 350Z probably. It's more of a sports car in my opinion.

    All I can think about with the Crossfire is my aunt's '99 ML320.. Same exact engine, and many of the same interior components, right down to the chime.

      Like no joke, that is what I am thinking about too. Only difference is is the year, my mom's ML 320 is a 2000 model but same every thing.

      The Crossfire is basically a 1990s Mercedes SLK dressed up in a Chrysler concept body from a decade later. I personally love it.
