If you ask me, I'll tell you that this library for me is much more interesting than Benjamin Wallfisch main strings library!

Agree. This one is well priced. I have plenty of aleatoric libraries, but I do like this one . I’m definitely getting this over the main one.

@@cherrysound The good news is, this library is not dependent on the other one. It stands well by itself. So I won’t be rushing to get the other one. 😉

@@Tyrell_Corp2019 I’ll be happy to get Stringscapes first 😁 And maybe main strings library later)

This is a fantastic library. A great follow up would be a Wallfisch-Zimmer collaboration on a library with all the sounds from Blade Runner 2049. It's one of the best scores of all time, and it deserves its own library.

These type of libraries rise or fall on how musical they really are. Some are a bunch of cool sounds that you find hard to work into, except very briefly, any actual piece of music. Hard to tell from any demo how often you'll use much of the sample content until you start using it yourself. Wallfisch, of course, is a composer so you'd hope/expect, it could offer real promise. Some of this walkthrough sounds like Wallfisch scoring for you, he's probably better than many of us, but again how does this interface with what you set out to write?

Well done OT! An incredible library. Sounds absolutely outstanding. ⭐️

Great sounding library! I prefer what this offers compared to the main library actually. I'm always looking for great textural libraries and some of these are really nice. Not sure how useable some of them are, as they're almost one-key compositions, but the more minimal evolving ones are lovely. Is there a chance of releasing another versions of this library without the REV patches? I'd never really use them, and it's going to double the size of the download :)

Also, the guy that does these walkthroughs is fantastic - I always enjoy the OT walkthroughs because of his detailed videos and playing style.. always very inspiring! :D

Purchased the library today. What’s there is very nice and sounds great, there just isn’t a whole lot there. Glad I got it on sale. Not trashing OT, I have many of their libraries and they’re terrific. Just disappointed with what was missing from this one . Shorter phrases with more variety would have been more useful.

I bought this library when it came out and have used it extensively; Stringscapes is simply gorgeous.
I've never been disappointed with a purchase from Orchestral Tools. The term, 'You get what you pay for,' is nothing short of true regarding VST libraries, and OT's are simply the best in my opinion.

Great textures and sound!!! As usual, if you are looking for realism OT is like one of the best! Plus, I always like to remember to the complainers, that these are tools to write music not to replace musicians! And this is is like the closest you get with realism!
