The thing I always find crazy is that you hear swearing and other 18 rated dialogue in the online game al the time. But we can not use those same words. How f ing ridiculous is that.
nobody is saying you cant use swear words, you just can't use them against other players. Who hurt you IRL that you need to curse at everyone who joins the lobby?
As long as this doesn’t get outta hand & there is an understanding between killing & griefing. I get on GTA online for the chaos & to enjoy getting into it with ppl in public sessions quite a bit. Not hop on everyday & treat online like a 2nd day job & constantly repeat the same missions over & over.
They're actually favouring cargo griefers😂I'm a grinder and I'd say I'm better than about 80% of players at sniping so whenever I get cargo griefed I pull out my trust heavy sniper mk 2 and spawn kill then. Now it seems if our cargo is destroyed we must just smile😁 and pretend nothing happened💀
@SweatyTwat i mean griefing is quite out of hand in Gta these days, especially on Pc. it's better they start to set some ground rules and see how the community reacts, before the arrival of Gta 6. hopefully the latter will have a proper anti cheat and dedicated servers. those 2 things alone can make a huge difference in the amount of cheaters present.
I’m quite very happy that they’ll take care about people that cheats. Every time I hop online,I get teleported, spawned in the air or water, infinite phone ringing noise, it’s been totally ruining my experience.
They add the orbital cannon, a flying bike with homing missiles, flying car with homing missiles, shit loads of armored and weaponized vehicles or gear, and many years later get mad that these get used for griefing. The mindset over at Rockstar Games is a one of a kind.
All they needed to do was make adversary modes pay more than cayo. I never play public if I can help it because chaos is a natural sedative to the bored player
if they follow through with banning griefers the only thing that I'll miss are the videos that some RUclipsrs put out where they go after the griefers with usually hilarious results
Yea i hope they actually do it tho.. i use to not care but when these lame kids come in and grief in god mode yea that was it for me.. i cant tell u how many time i got griefed latley and the player was in god mode
I have a ton of friends that refused to play GTA Online. It's always the same story--they were level 1 and no one would even let them walk down the street. I remember first playing at the end of 2020, and during the tutorial I got pulled into a race. Everyone was at least 70 levels over me, and instead of racing, 2 guys just rammed me over and over again. That was literally my first interaction with the community. When I got to the actual game, I wanted to learn how to play and start making money, so I went to my cargo warehouse, picked up 1 crate and started a sale mission. I flew a plane to the desert, started fighting the NPC enemies and suddenly 3 griefers blew up my plane and killed me over and over again. Thing is, at level 1, you have a pistol and limited money (not to mention pitiful damage), so I ran out of bullets immediately and died about 20 times. If I didn't learn to get myself into a solo public session, I would've quit immediately.
The problem is this is still encouraged. Just messing around, and trolling people is banned instead? wtf I never mess with someone when they are selling something, but when they are putting around, it's all fun in games in my opinion.
@constitutionknwsbest Yeah, every once in a while I like to find a lobby of people flying their jets and joining in on the action. When a million GTA$ costs $20 real cash, only a simpleton is going to work for the reward of 2000 GTA$. I wish Rockstar would've implemented cargo theft. 50% of the goods could be considered damaged, so the thief gets 50% of what the seller would've made. With the current setup, it just forced new players out immediately or convinced them to spend real cash with Rockstar. People who shill for a billion-dollar corporation to earn $0.10 profit are pathetic.
As a girl player one of the reasons I quit GTA was because I would get griefed constantly or other players would just stalk me in game once they found out I was actually a girl. I literally could not play the game sometimes. This change was way too late from Rockstar
kinda did listen tho, they know the game is an unplayable hellhole so they mitigated the basic issues with the game. you literally cant drive around in a public lobby. fuck the cargo you can do that in invite only, what is the point of grinding if i cant even cruise with the 3 million dollar car i did 5 heist to get?
@@slumpduck3339 So instead of balancing their broken game and removing the broken vehicles that enabled griefing in the first place they wanna ban people like me who wanna talk smack and own trash players on a criminal / murdering simulator. They made this mess themselves, they created the losers who grief bums like you,but instead of admitting it and fixing the actual problem they wanna ban people who just play good and do what GTA is and was always about. Being a freaking criminal and do whatever you want. Imagine playing an adult criminal simulator and telling people not to talk smack and not "grief" people when that was the whole point of GTA. If you want people to be peaceful in gta then give people the GTA IV treatment. Aka custom lobbies with friendly fire on or off. But who the hell wants to play GTA peacefully? Go play Minecraft or sims if you dont like violence or another "Criminal" smacking you in freemode cause he can and wants to. This whole thing is a joke.

It's really hard to police lobby fights, and I somehow doubt any player who gets cargo griefed would suffer any penalties for going after the person who blew up their shit as long as they're doing it with what the game gives you. I don't see how honestly, outside of high level players taking advantage of low level players not knowing how to use passive. I actually had to tell a lv 65 how to use passive mode because they were getting attacked repeatedly, rockstar should really make that a tooltip for new players so they know immediately how to avoid such situations.
They need to do something about delivering vehicles. Please put everything in one truck and not multiple for one damn package going to the same location
This is good too here ive been called a N so many to just for driving past someone or defending my friends and i have no clue what actions to take after
The main problem is still their mission design and game mechanics that encourage people to start fights and grief other players. The newer content has actively tried to stay away from that but Rockstar just refuses to address the older content where this is most prevalent.
The mission structure is definitely a problem with the online, but I see this less as a problem that'll be fixed, and sadly something that they probably won't touch upon until the next game, especially since these issues have been prevalent for so long now, why would they fix the older content now
someone griefs me, then when I respawn I'm in an unwanted "deathmatch" and my character stands aggressively ready to fight. I can't turn that off even by doing a thumbs up animation. grefed again within a minute. ok I find another session. brilliant.
Let’s be honest, they did listen and did at least allow you to sell in invite only or closed lobbies. Which is a huge life saver and a game changer. I rarely step foot in public lobbies now and the game is much more fun for me. I can solo grind and make 1-2 million per hour
A better solution could be change the way passive mod works. If on passive you can shot and make missions, but you couldn't damage or be damaged for other players, it'd solute this conflict forever.
That might almost work, I actually have to use a router program to session split when I have people griefing me while doing heist setups. What's the difference between going passive and having to swap sessions if you're just getting away from the people griefing anyhow?
@@SilentMovements305 Well there’s a difference between shooting and smacking each other to death, and getting constantly chased and bombarded by someone with a ridable jet engine
@Tito-qo6lp it's valid because they still have this stupid vehicle in the game. I would be 100% fine if they just deleted the vehicle completely. Use helicopters or jets. The Oppressor is too O.P its like trying smash a annoying mosquitoes that try to bother you for no reason.
Would love to see an "anything goes" and "honor among criminals" option for lobbies when booting in. This way, if you want to drive backwards in a race, you can.
you still can. they never said that they will actually do something against such players. its just written in their guidelines that they can, if they would like to. (but they will not, because they never ever did anything at all.)
yes its 18+ but theres always going to be children playing it. we all were at that point, playing games rated m for mature on the ps2, knowing we were too young to be playing gta san andreas
so what if kids are playing 18+ if it says 18+ on the game then game companies shouldn't sensor it then it's the kids fault for playing it and getting hurt over small stuff@@papiderpy
this has backwards bs written all over it but then again the players have legit 0 clue what the difference between griefing and casual pvp is so I'm curious to see if Rockstar actually enforces this
I would like to think of this as a stepping stone for what is next, rather than just making assumptions based on "past" "patterns". Even though the assumptions are pretty realistic and understandable. However, if we try to keep an open mind and be a little optimistic, this could possibly be a step in the right direction to prevent from making the same mistake(s) in GTA 6's online mode. Just something to think about yk?.
It's GRAND THEFT AUTO what is there to think about? This is the most successful video game ever made because of the free will one has in the game. Now marshmallows want it to be what it is simply not. If you don't like the toxic environment go play Minecraft period. This game franchise was built on degeneracy and people love it
There is no way rockstar can enforce the griefing in a sustainable way LOL. Cracking down on cheaters i'm fine with, but enforcing griefing... where do you draw the line? you can't crack down on that with full on bans, it's gonna be a huge mess.
been playing since 360 these new rules are gonna kill the game they want they sharkcards so bad bro im also upset about griefing i can understand like killing low levels where they cant defend themselfs but just banning it all together will definity kill the game and that rule isnt gonna slide that far

I just deleted the game, because I was alone in the game, that was bought by 50.000.000 people. It’s strange. But it is. I hope that after this rules I should came back and play with normal bandits and robbers, but not with psychopaths that was divorced and decided to kill everybody
TGG you should start playing this really small game almost nobody knows about, but I feel it could make for some good content. The game is GTA 5 Online. It's a really small indie game but it's kinda cool and I think more people should know about it.
u can kill them once for it but repeatedly is a lil excessive...im guessing if yall both killing each other after that then its okay...one sided deaths over and over is annoying especially if u not trying to fight back.
If I destroyed someone's cargo, of which they put hours and hours of real time into grinding to get, hours of progress is gone I would not expect them to kill once and move on satisfied, destroying someone's cargo is 1000x more annoying than spawn killing lol@@marquisewells9099
nahh i dont think so, its a system put in place to where they check the kill counts of both players. that would be the most logical. they can clearly see if you got killed multiple times by the same guy without retaliation, or if ur the one doing the killing.
The better Solution is to create extra lobbies where players Can't kill each other. You can use that in options > online > "find friendly lobby" or Something like that. I Think this is a better Solution. Edit: Also, they should do COOP based events & dailies in free lobbies where you can't Damage & kill players that take part on this events/dailies, even as someone who Doesn't take part of this dailies/events.
Exactly. That's what Zenimax and Bethesda did with Elder Scrolls Online and it works. There are areas specifically for PVP and PVE, however they should do lobbies where you can't attack or kill one another, and lobbies that are just lawless hellscapes of jets, tanks, and machine gun toting degenerates. Would make the game so much better.
I've always thought this was an excellent idea. The only way I could imagine something like this working is like making everyone a ghost, because Rockstar is definitely too lazy to give people and their vehicles invincibility. To balance it though I'd imagine they'd make Business unavailable or unsellable since that would really break the game if we could all just boost our sale profits without any risk
I can already see how this will backfire. Some level 1 will attack someone and then report that same person as soon as they kill the level 1 for griefing.
bad thing about the ingame reporting tool is that some modders can actually block the outgoing message towards rockstar, since its controlled by the session you are in, which modders can easily cut off. It happened mutliple times, that the moment i reported a modder my game crashed. Not a moment later, the moment I hit submit, even when the modder was completly occupied with bullying someone else on the other side of the map
I figured changes were on the way when a couple weeks ago I had to reagree to the terms of service/privacy/community guidelines before it would let me load online for either of my accounts, then I had to agree again to access social club.
I love how they’re doing all these things now hoping people don’t realize it’s just pr stunts to try and grow community faith so more people will buy gta 6… they could give a F about the play experience.. perfect example being the rapid fire bug they never fixed since launch over 10 years ago
They purposefully encourage players to screw each other over by giving rewards for attacking cargo and sales missions, but at the same time claim they will punish people for it, but at the same time, not punish people for attacking cargo? Like how does this make any sense? I almost always play solo but this is ridiculous
Im a solo player too but im so tired of every game adding these types of rules, it's 18+ for a reason, if kids play it it's the parents fault and that's not the games responsibility, didn't all the npc characters already break the hate speech rules they just implemented btw? Shits just dumb
What qualifies as spawn killing in pvp is gonna be a blurry line that causes problems for people I think. Like if you're pvping someone and kill them back to back before they spawn something or kill you back, is that spawn killing? It probably will be when they don't like it and hit report 😂
exactly... it's subjective. Anyone can at any time feel like they're being grief'd and report you. The ppl complaing about griefing really shot themselves in the foot with this one
Yeah imma continue what I do and if I get banned I’ll just never play any game by Rockstar again. They already censored themselves by removing NPC’s, and the departure of Houser and the OG’s will eventually lead to it’s downfall anyway. Luckily they seem to have worked on VI.
why they should ban anyone for modding, cheating or greafing? they just changed their guidelines. they never actually talked about do something against it. its just not allowed. since ther is no control of anything you can still do whatever you want.
@@kennythemeat modding and all that sure if it’s toxic, but spawn-killing in a pvp game? PvP isn’t what it’s focused on but still, this is why passive mode exists, or just switching sessions. If anything the devs should implement a better spawn system instead of letting the players pay for Rockstar’s mistakes.
I think they are doing this because a lot of people don't play GTA5 online now because of the griefing problem. They want to experiment with changing the rules to see if it actually helps attract players or at least doesn't repel existing players. They want to solve the problem before GTA6 Online is released so they can maximise the number of people who play it.
The real reason why i dont touch gta online anymore are the dangerous mod menus who can read out your IP and can take control of your entire PC in a whimp. Rockstar should take care of those menus to let them vanish forever. And that should be easy for them for how many and good lawyers they have.
I was arrested after getting into an argument with someone on GTA Online. I said someone was fat after they grieved me. He said that he did not understand why I knew he was fat and claimed I was a stalker. I was pulled over in my new Corvette and was arrested and tased, and then was sentenced to 9 months in jail for resisting arrest, eluding the cops with a sports car, and harassment with intent to afflict bodily harm to a fat person. It is illegal to say someone is fat and use 500 horsepower. I encourage everyone to never argue in GTA Online and drive a Coquette or you will spend the rest of your life incarcerated due to America's authoritarian dictatorship.
Tbh I hate how Rockstar came out with these community guidelines over 9 years after GTA V Online was introduced, when griefers were consistently killing other players/engaging in unsporting behavior, and only NOW after announcing GTA 6 do they decide to do something that’s been a problem for nearly a decade in a game that could have been more fun for players all this time. Good job Rockstar. Well done 😑
Grief hours of work in cargo for like 2k fine. Pvp kill people rapidly assaulting them the second they spawn in a sandbox type game...rockstar is utterly ridiculous
I wouldn't worry too much. Though it does feel like R* is just hiring RP lobby moderators to be their support staff lol. "You said a bad woooooord, 6 hour ban". One report for "griefing" is highly unlikely to be acted upon. I mean, R* can't even be bothered to fix the damn headlight on the Aleutian for crying out loud.
Didn't they buy FiveM or something? I'm pretty sure they also have hired server moderators. Just not the good ones, but the most entitled mods and admins imaginable.
Worse and more noticeable than the headlight, the dang back right sail window on the vigero zx convertible that won’t go down and can’t even be broken to get rid of it. I loved how there “solution” was to make it the only convertible that you can’t lower the top and park in your garage, the top automatically goes back up to cover the fact the window doesn’t work 🤦🏻♂️
And it never was so bad to what you need to be monitored like this. And this doesn't even solve the actual problem. Because people are still going to blow up your cargo and you can't retaliate because if you spawn kills somebody, you have a chance to being banned.
The game tells you you’re going the wrong way in races, can tell how many times you kill someone (going 40 and 7 with someone makes it pretty clear you’re griefing them)
@@bandit3019If they get killed 40-7, then it could just mean the other person is way better than them at fighting and could be banned for being skilled.
They could address the backwards racing with a togglable setting in the race setting, no need to 'remove privilages' whatever that means. Let the race host decide if they want that or not
As much as griefing was bad, it’s a core part of the game, you gotta be smart with your sells and doing things in big lobbies, the only griefing that’s pissy is griefing low levels. This implement has made gta slowly a shell of itself, especially when we lost in game lobby voice chat
Rockstar just didn't want to handle cheating on PC, and regulated some bulls*** that's not effective on prohibiting bad behaviors. Even some rules are weird.
I wish there was no bonus for doing deliveries in public servers + the insentive for destroying someone elses cargo. It is never enjoyable to lose hours of work.
yup can definitely see someone getting banned for protecting themselves from griefers lmao this generation of gaming is so cooked gta 6 online will be so bad we already know it

For those that don't know, Rockstar games has been working to track gamers and turn them over to the DOJ since 2019.(If your country has extraction clauses with the US, that includes you too.)
Good, I'm tired of having my safety threatened by wannabe thugs for simply defending myself in a videogame, three times I've had people try and kill me and when I kill them back too much they get mad and start looking up my address and shit. Maybe those people don't deserve to be playing videogames in the first place and should be in a cell.

Remember griefing is subjective, so anyone can report you if the feel like they're being grief'd. In saying that, any YTer that makes a video with any sort of PvP like anti-griefer content should in theory be banned as the other person is technically being grief'd. This is sort of how TheProfessional does his anti-griefer videos ie. spawn killing the griefer in a 10v1, the original griefer could technically report TheProffesional for griefing. See the fine line with these new griefing guidliness, it's subjective. I guess the grinder community got what they wanted, but shot themselves in the foot at the same time.
@@aceholepicturesit’s not for you, It’s mostly for the brand new players (gtav is on the rise thanks to the announcement of 6) and no one wants to get spawn killed by an 8000. Many people quit because of it and rockstar wants to ride the wave of new players to make more money. Think with your head.

First they nerf cayo perico. Then continually raise prices on cars/businesses. At that point you mine as well mod and hack against money hungry rockstar. And now they are actually doing something about modders who are honestly angry at how rockstar makes their game sucky to begin with? Wow. Rockstar your gonna lose more players again. If its not a banwave, just no one is gonna want to play it anymore unless its for a specific purpose where we would benefit financially or otherwise. The loss of our revenue becomes Rockstar's loss of player revenue.
Maybe the reason for it is due to the fact that cargo-griefing, heist-preps etc. is a part of the "competition" to be the most valuable criminal in Los Santos, while intentionally spawnkilling, driving the wrong way in a race etc. don't give you any advantage when it comes to being a criminal - maybe K/D is a factor for some individuals, but there is a difference between spawnkilling and having an ingame duel where you both participate. If I'm doing my missions, and some guy keeps spawnkilling me, when I have no intention to fight back, maybe that is what they are referring to. Still tho, odd announcement - although they should focus more on banning modders.
for me, I agree with discouraging people from spawn killing. like there are lots of times where I am just minding my own business, but some person starts grieving and spawn-camping for no reason. it can be real annoying to try and deal with it or trying to move to a different server (you need to be alive to go into options to be able to change server).
Brutal. Gotta protect every one's feelings while they're playing a game about becoming a high ranking drug overlord, murderer, police fighting, GRAND THEFT AUTO professional, under the table reconnaissance and militia, anarchy creating, tax avoiding criminal who is affiliated or at war with all the other gangs and chapters in town.
i actually dont know, public lobbies were ruined when modders became a thing and made the pvp unfair, and invite only is still fun. get a good amount of ingame friends to join you so you all can dick around and not worry about getting reported
No one said you can’t Mf it’s like you only listened to what he was theorizing about it… they said you can’t just sit there and spawn kill, going 40 and 10 (I’ve seen it happen and done it) is overboard, since getting killed pulls you out of the menu for some god forsaken reason

If they are using AI for the voice chat, they are NOT going to look at any reports. People are going to abuse this when their team loses in all the various team based jobs and this is going to schism what's left of the playerbase. Also, huge lmao at Rockstar thinking millions of people play their games still. Last I saw Steam wasn't even cracking 100K. Nah man. That Griefing ban is a huge thing for a lot of people. The other day, I got moved to a public lobby after I AFKed and decided to stay there while in passive mode to see if the ban wave really affected public lobbies. It was fine for a few minutes until this one player on an Oppressor MK2 started just killing everyone who wasn't even a CEO nonstop until they left. I moved to another lobby and the same thing happened, one player on a Raiju started killing players for no reason, even when players asked the griefers politely to stop multiple times. I ended up using an orbital strike on the player to stop them from griefing this one player who's still low-level. (Yeah, I'm not a PvP person so I just use that to annoy griefers. Lol.) I moved to another lobby after the griefer left then I encounter a damn modder who keeps griefing players with an atomizer that shoots like an SMG. I just reported the player and initiated a kick vote then left. That griefing ban is badly needed to teach those toxic kids.
I cannot believe my ears. Has hell indeed frozen over? PS On pc not one session without cheaters, modders, griefers. PPS Going by THEIR definition destroying someone’s cargo is not griefing…. @@TsmTye84 how about you use a solo session instead of crying ?
Agreed

@eaT_buLLetsSss Oh no! How do I live after being burned so badly by a teenager?! I will never financially recover!

The main problem is still their mission design and game mechanics that encourage people to start fights and grief other players. The newer content has actively tried to stay away from that but Rockstar just refuses to address the older content where this is most prevalent.
This is a very good point, we have two separate eras of GTA online in mutual existence with one another and it's causing problems.

@topbrasstv8867 you're only comments on this page started this week and are only to promote this. Can we all say Rockstar bot together, TGG fam? If you are afraid to play GTA, they have games like fortnite for your age group.
@@USMC-Goforth lol alrighty then I guess it's cool to track people down and threaten them when they don't let you pick on them.
@topbrasstv8867 I don't believe anyone is tra king you down. While it certainly can be done, the majority of gamers don't have the means to do that. I use to track peolle for the DOD for 6 years as a US contractor, it wasn't easy.
Turn over for what? Making fun of Biden probably
9 times out of 10, the person who started the issue decides theyre the victim..
I've been grnding for ten years, I didn't want this. It's GTA ffs!!!
The reason you grind is to become the level 400 that griefed you at the beginning. So satisfying to earn the orbital cannon and use it on a griefer(8000 is exploit glitching)@@bandit3019
In theory R* could take the subjective part out by clearly defining what counts as griefing. But rn it’s just a circus because they gave a vague definition and 3 examples so it’s anyone’s guess what is and what isn’t allowed
Exactly this. No clue why TGG thinks this is bad

Why Are the First Letters of Every Word Capitalized Like It's the Title to Something?
Never let rockstar cook again
Rockstar is banning GTA Online griefers before GTAVI fr tho
I assume this will all be in GTA 6 so they are putting it in place now.
But don’t call someone the f word when they grief your cargo!
I'd rather play in invite only now, cuz of the fact that I cannot retaliate against my nemesis! What the actual fuck, Rockstar? Why?
i actually dont know, public lobbies were ruined when modders became a thing and made the pvp unfair, and invite only is still fun. get a good amount of ingame friends to join you so you all can dick around and not worry about getting reported
Who says you can't?
No one said you can’t Mf it’s like you only listened to what he was theorizing about it… they said you can’t just sit there and spawn kill, going 40 and 10 (I’ve seen it happen and done it) is overboard, since getting killed pulls you out of the menu for some god forsaken reason
@@bandit3019depends on why the spawn killing is happening. 9/10 it’s a loser getting what they deserve.
@@bandit3019 Bruh. Once, I killed my nemesis again and agaian and again bcz he ruined my sale mission for night club when it was on double money. And I know that TGG said that I can't just camp and spawn kill a person now.
I'm a sadist by nature, my friends say, that I love the sweet smell of revenge. It's like f*ck with me, Imma f*ck with you, but I'm also very loyal to other peeps though, if I'm feeling happy, I also help others deliver their product by guarding them with my oppressor. I'm just like Trevor Philips (in game ofc, irl, I'm just a normal Doctor, but in game - I can be toxic as hell 😂 jk), also, hope so you have a nice day ahead, bruh!
2:41 i think someone in rockstar got 'griefed' himself for that driving the wrong way in a Racewith the intention to disrupt to be a thing🤣
sounds about right hahaha
found the griefer
Yeah, that was an oddly specific example lmao
My whole purpose of grinding is to fight griefers, now what am I going to do
Have the Gronks that came up with these rules never played this game??...
They're probably the bean counters that were fired from Twitter.
>make game based entirely around the concept of griefing others for personal gain
>take that away for innocuous things
>don't fix known bugs
>never restart servers
>push remaining effectively dead game towards buying fake game money with real money to hide you lost the plot and capability years ago
cool, this just means more people will go crew/friend/invite only. why would I public session or random join anything when one ban-happy babby can nuke me from orbit for any reason, especially considering how undefined griefing is?
If they are using AI for the voice chat, they are NOT going to look at any reports. People are going to abuse this when their team loses in all the various team based jobs and this is going to schism what's left of the playerbase. Also, huge lmao at Rockstar thinking millions of people play their games still. Last I saw Steam wasn't even cracking 100K. It's still a lot, but a far cry from the peak of the mountain they still think they're on. Once again, they shoot themselves in the foot. Oh well. Doesn't affect a solo only player like myself.
This is the equivalent of a bullied kid getting punished for fighting back
Its like censoring sex scenes in porn.
Japan does it somewhat.

@@gertytk5528oh please don't talk about that country which puts out heavily sexualized animes every year, a girl boy sleeping in a bed something different happens other day censors these scenes, irony dies like 4000 times, except some worthful animes, they are too cringe
@@gertytk5528Well let’s not forget about Pearl Harbor.
The game is rated M... for mature... Yet they change rules, so a 9 year old won't get their feelings hurt.
Says the griefer.
Facts!! Instead of catering to kids they should be banning them. I'd bet 90% of griefers are kids that shouldn't even be allowed on the game. Ban all under 18 and the game would be 10x better 💯
I never hear the 9 year olds
complaining. Usually older people just minding there own buisness.
after some heists the game will randomly spawn you in a strip club
now the host of that heist should be banned
cry 😢
I just wish they would fix being able to snipe people through buildings
Reserving the right to slap you with a ban rather than amending the game so players can combat griefing is lazy and authoritarian
man, me and my friends sometimes play a somewhat pub G type of shooting game when playing gta 5. We select a location in the map and set some boundaries. With our display radars turned off, we hunt each other down in a never ending free for all. I hope these guidelines don't affect that
like rockstar said, you will be banned if you dont mod or cheat.(thats the reality so far, at least on pc.)
My friends and I do the same thing, but we use the Imani perk and create a no-radar zone. We group up, activate the ability, then we have 1-minute to scatter before hunting each other down.
@@ConsoleControlGames this sounds fun, imma try this one with my friends. We actually havent tried using vehicles for this yet as well, partly because explosions cause wanted levels and we dont want cops interfering
@@kennythemeat sucks
They should just make lobbys with different rules.
Make a lobby with no police, no explosives, or flying vehicles for example. Ppl want to play in different ways
Great idea👍👍👍
To be honest I get grieved more from cargo and bunker raids than other players lol
Ikr. After all these years, people have been complaining about business raids and nobody has ever had anything positive to say about them. They're a nuisance no matter who you are and Rockstar has kept them in the game while changing the dynamics of everything else that don't need to be changed.
Griefing and foul talk banned in a game full of sexual references in vehicle descriptions and in the in game radio and tv is beyond me.
PS
On pc not one session without cheaters, modders, griefers.
PPS
Going by THEIR definition destroying someone’s cargo is not griefing…. Well done, RS, for not addressing one of the biggest issues. And to all telling me you can do that in a solo session: sure, but then you need to constantly change sessions when you want to play with other players but in between do some business.
they only changed their guidelines. they nver talked about to do anything against modders cheaters and griefers. i dont get it why everyone is so upset with this thing. it will not change one single thing.

Yeah, GTA. Not griefers vs. sweats lol
Im a legit lvl 1005 grinder. And I always sell in full lobbies, both for the extra cash and the thrill. It's also lore accuratte, we are criminals moving goods in a territory disputed by other gangbangers and kingpins, so I unserstand why it could be considered "not griefing". Also close your app the moment an attack is inminent if you wanna keep your goods 🤷♂️
Well that's better than the whole decade of complete security nothingness.
