I completed Xenoblade 1, 2 and Torna in a week-ish.. 10/10, I am very depressed. Xenoblade 3 next!!

Thanks for playing the Torna DLC! This DLC changed some of my perspective when replaying XC2 again. I legit could NOT sleep after finishing this DLC, just sat in bed pondering.

optronix!! thank u for watching and dropping by the stream too :D i cried for another 3 hours after i ended stream. every time counterattack plays in my head i just think about the cutscenes.. torna definitely changed how i felt about XC2 too, especially the ending. now i'm happy mythra and pyra came back asdbfjasdf ;_;

Thank you for playing this DLC and base game for 2. It is my favorite entry of the series and seeing you react to it positively means a lot to me. Your emotional reactions were very heartfelt and I could tell you love these characters in the game just as I do. It is amazing how this entry in the series really stirs a strong emotional response for players who invest their time in the game and be reward with such an amazing tales woven by these characters.
For the DLC specifically I cried just as hard as you did over this story so don't be concerned that you are overreacting.
Hugo's death was the first event that triggered my tears. He was so young and self sacrificing but gave his life to protect his best friend Addam all the way to the end. Seeing his lifeless body in Addams arms as he is crying always gets to me.
Mythra's reaction to Milton's lifeless body and Mikhail's rejection of her even caressing his body was so painful. Seeing how much pain she was in made me cry as I was saying out loud "It's not your fault" to her because I knew how much this guilt would eat away at her for the next 500 years. It was even more painful when I saw the moment she screamed as she glowed with traces of flames in her light and realizing this was when Pyra was born. Seeing Pyra as she leaves with Addam was painful because of how happy she was at the moment but knowing her painful mindset in the main game.
Finally the ending song "A Moment of Eternity" played and at first I dreaded seeing Lora's death and Jin becoming a Flesh Eater which I am grateful the game didn't show. The lyrics I realized was Lora describing her time with Jin and hoping that Jin would be able to find someone who will help guide him and show him the right way who we know is Rex.
Jin's last words were ones I hold onto very closely. It made me realize how our time with someone we love can be cut short and that we might feel we haven't spent enough time with them before they go. But it showed that despite this we must walk forward because that is what the people who love us want when they are gone. At last the game fast forwarding to the events of the main game when Rex arrives in the Ancient Ship who will be the one to set things right. His presence was comforting as his optimism and positivity is just what the world needs which will end up saving his world.
Sorry for the long rant but I really want to express how much I love this entry in the series and share my experiences in the game.
Can't wait for your Xenoblade 3 playthrough. For the record. You won't be prepared for the game emotionally. You never will. So don't be surprised if you cry as much as you do or will do in your game.
Hope you have a lovely life. Cherish it like Jin would with Lora.
