Also im pretty sure that the very unlikely joint operation between BMW and the fridge brand Messerschmitt (created the BMW Isetta, which after the company turning its focus from cars to airplanes were at a near dead end and it was mutually beneficial for both companies); I'm pretty sure something to do with their pretty well off companies, economically speaking helped financially with the rebuilding.

Money talks louder than morality
in my opinion it happened so long time ago that you can't blame people now for decisions of their ancestors, for example i couldn't blame modern Germany now for invading my country during WW2. Now different people live there and everything changed and they have nothing to do with it.
Only one I can blame are the ones that lived back than and collaborated.( for example if German officer still lives to this day i can blame him.)

I guess this is a surprise to many. It's good to have this info out there for people to learn from.
A lot of people will take away, 'Capitalism bad, government good' from videos like this.
But let's look at FDR, a big government icon:
A 1940 US Senate investigation revealed that American industrialists belonging to manufacturers like Pratt & Whitney, Douglas and Bendix Aviation were freely selling military patents to the Nazis, with the assent of Roosevelt’s government.
That means the FDR administration knew international corporations were selling the NAZIs technology and did nothing to stop it. Coca Cola and Kodak are small potatoes. GM, Ford, IBM, DuPont, Standard Oil also provided interwar Germany technology. The Roosevelt administration is as culpable as these companies are for allowing it.
Let's also not overlook the fact that the Tuskegee Airmen biological experiments were started under the approval of the FDR administration. Many others were, including some related to the Manhattan Project.
Even the 'good guys' are culpable of terrible things under the scrutiny of the modern eye.
It continues today in China, and people 50-100 years in the future will ask why we did not stop it.
I'm no expert but I believe the airmen and the Tuskegee experiments were unrelated. In 1942 FDR passed the "Trading with the Enemies Act" 1942 which forced US companies to either hide or stop their collaboration. I'm not saying FDR was not also collaborating, but I believe he was the power behind getting American companies to stop or at least hide their collaboration during the war.
Don’t forget Siemens! I worked for them in 2010, and the employees would say ( Bear made the gas and Siemens made the values)

I think asking for an apology from IBM is a ship that has long since sailed. The people who made those deals are long gone. So an apology would be just a token gesture at this point from people who have no idea about why it was the way that it was. So it is a waste of time, and meaningless anyway.
